Can you see through the capris?

No, You cannot see through the capris. I absolutely loved them (bought two)!! Great fit and confidence in the water.

can i go swimming at a waterpark in these?

Yes I recently went to Florida and went to a waterpark wearing these...was no issue at all

Normally, I wear a small to medium, but swimming never seems to fit the same way. I am 5’4”, 134-6 lbs, 35-29-40. What would be a good size for me?

They fit true to size. They are very stretchy too
