Bought 2 sets of these for an Alaskan cruise and they were awesome. They work really well and can get quite warm. I like that there is 3 levels of heat available. They take a bit to recharge, but they hold the charge for a long time. I was impressed with how long these actually lasted and never had a day where we used the entire battery up. You can either keep them in your pockets and hold them that way, or do what we did, stuff them into our gloves and kept them in our hands that way. We were on a whale watching cruise and did this and it worked great. It took a little bit to slide them into the glove, but it was worth it. The shape of these feels more natural to hold than another set my son used that was more straight like a broom handle. I would definitely recommend these for your cold weather needs. The other thing that is nice is not only are they USB-C standard, but the charging cable is a single cable port on one side with 2 outlets on the other side so you can charge both up at the SAME time. Very handy to have versus a single port and having to charge them up one at a time.
