TM8 RV Tire Pressure Monitoring System, TPMS Set of 4 Sensors

Great system for the money. I bought this for my daughter's car. It works fantastic. Solar panel on the back charges the screen. The low pressure alert works. No wires to mess with, just thread on the caps, stick the screen to the windshield and go. The range on these sensors is extremely good. I had the car parked on the street, and the screen was reading pressures from inside my house. Excellent unit.

The built-in battery has a small capacity and runs out of power in about three or four days. If it's cloudy and there's no sunlight, solar charging won't be sufficient to recharge the battery, leading to the battery draining completely and the device shutting down.

Decent system.. not too sure about the locking washer because I don't see how it can prevent theft. The monitor screen will turn off after some time so you will have to tap on it to wake it up. The battery life is fairly decent. Only had to charge it up once and the solar panel took care of rest. I recommend it instead of paying too much to replace TPS at the dealership

Well worth the money. Saved a catastrophic loss of a tire on the trailer by informing us that there was very low pressure before the tire blew out. Inexpensive system and works flawlessly.

I purchased the Tymate TM8 system to monitor the tires on my travel trailer. This unit absolutely failed me when I needed it most. The TPMS was showing signal for all 4 tires, with the PSI and temp for each displayed. I had to manuver a tight right-hand turn and the front passenger side camper tire must have scraped against a curb. About a minute after making the turn, my truck began to labor pulling the camper. I noticed white smoke and the smell of burning rubber. My tire blew out. The TM8 did not sound any alarm, and actually still displayed the blown tire with PSI and temp as if nothing ever happened. I will be replacing the TM8 with a more reliable system for safety's sake.

I’ll be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first, but after three months of use, I am thoroughly impressed with the Tymate TM8. I bought this for my 2023 Kia Sonet, which unfortunately didn't come with a built-in tire pressure monitoring system. Accuracy & Performance: I’ve cross-referenced the readings with dedicated manual gauges several times, and the TM8 is spot on. For its price range, my research showed this was one of the most precise options available, and it hasn't disappointed. The sensors on the tires are still going strong after 3 months, and I appreciate that they include replacement options/parts in the box. Battery & Solar Charging: I have a UV-protective film on my car windows, which seems to affect the solar charging efficiency. While the "charging" icon lights up, it doesn't seem to gain much juice from the sun alone in my case. However, the base unit lasts about 4 days on a single charge, which is perfectly fine for me. I just plug it in during my daily 1.5-hour round-trip commute, and that’s more than enough to keep it topped up. Setup & Versatility: I chose not to mount mine on the windshield (as you can see in the photo), and it works perfectly fine wherever you place it. It’s a very flexible device. A Note on Compatibility: Based on my research, this is excellent for passenger vehicles and SUVs. However, if you drive a heavy-duty truck that requires pressures over 100 PSI, you might want to double-check, as this model is best suited for standard vehicles. Verdict: Tymate is easily one of the best brands in this category. If you’re looking for peace of mind on the road without breaking the bank, I recommend this one blindly.

Received and installed this TM8 in a 2015 Toyota Sienna to monitor tire pressures. It initially worked great with a clear display and appears to have accurate PSI readouts as compared to my handheld pressure guage. After a few days of use I have started to notice that segments of the 7 segment displays have stopped working as shown in the picture. As shown in the picture my tire pressures are set at 35/36 PSI and the ambient temperature is 77 F. Several segments in the top row, both PSI and Temp, are not functioning. Really disappointing. Tymate appears to have some quality control issues. As a positive I will say that the unit was easy to set up and use. I will be returning this unit to Amazon.
