This is a good tray for putting cut fruit on so it doesn’t sit in this juice. Make sure you measure the bottom of the dish you plan to us it in carefully.

I personally use these inserts inside my 3rd containers to drain excess liquid from my fruits like pineapples and mangos for my daily smoothies. It fits snugly into the containers but has a little spot to lift it up and out, making it easy to get out once everything needs to get cleaned. Before using these, I’d scoop out my fruit and end up with way too much juice in my blender, messing up the smoothie’s texture. Now, the excess liquid stays at the bottom of the container while my fruit stays perfectly prepped and easy to grab. No more watery smoothies, just the perfect consistency every time!

I am using this for a totally non food related purpose, but it is working great. This is made to allow food to drain on a steam table or to hold food over hot water. As long as you don't expose it to heat greater than boiling water it should last near forever.
