Perfect!
Last bought these some years ago, but at the time the size seemed a little skimpy (I have "big hair"), though they were advertised as large. This time, though, the fit was just what I needed, and able to amply accommodate my hair without any difficulty. In the years since I last purchased this, the price had only increased a few cents, but the quality had doubled! Would definitely buy again.

Awesome!
Awesome! Use these in my salon. Love that they're really big, so I can use them on larger heads or very thick hair.

Nice product
Thin and does not squeeze my head. Does the job of helping my hair to absorb hair products.

Review, ideas, check my photos! UPDATED JANUARY 2015
UPDATED: Sure enough, the more of a wad I go thru, the looser the elastic gets. I use each one just once now. Guess just sitting around they lose their elasticity. But at 100 a shot, they should last me a year. There were five bundles of 20 shower caps in each. Each was inside another, so it was easy to get just one out for use. These actually would make great gifts for some people, as they don't take up much room, can be used for guests, and also for putting in pairs of shoes. The elastic is good. I can use one for probably a month until needing a new one, I'm guessing. Good quality. One of my favorite Rodney Dangerfield jokes is... I can tell when my wife is feeling sexy... she wears a clear shower cap! Other uses for shower caps: 1. iPad touchscreen cover Are you cooking with messy fingers and reading recipes on your iPad? Put a shower cap over the screen (it's a perfect fit!) and continue on. We tested that the touchscreen works through the showercap plastic, and it does. 2. Bowl cover Got leftovers in a bowl that has no matching lid, or are you taking a dish to a potluck? A shower cap fits perfectly over larger bowls and pans for easy storage. 3. Housework protection When you're painting or cleaning, a showercap can not only protect dust and dirt from getting in your hair, but putting it over your safety glasses--if you're using them--can keep dust out of your eyes. 4. Drain cleaner Pulling hair clogs out of the drain is so gross. Usually we use a bit of toilet paper, but that starts dissolving and is just ew. A shower cap is the perfect solution. 5. Broom cover After brooming your floors, instead of tying a plastic bag around your broom, put a showercap around the bottom to contain rogue dustbunnies. 6. Plant drip protection Use a shower cap instead of a plate underneath a plant pot to catch drips and water leaks. 7. Accessory cases: Reorganize your clothes drawers by rolling belts or scarves or knit hats up in shower caps for an easy and quick solution. 8. Hairdo helper We all know what a showercap is really for, but we suggest using it over your hairdo when you slip up and do your hair and makeup before putting on your nice clothes. 9. Utensil and covers Do you have one of those hanging pot racks? Use showercaps over your pots to keep them from getting dusty inside; this also works well for soup ladles and larger utensils. 10. Water balloon It might take a stronger throw to pop one, but a shower cap is an excellent makeshift water balloon if you tie it tight enough. 11. Cover for bicycle seat on rainy days We used to carry around a plastic bag for putting over our bike seat on rainy days until we figured out the showercap thing. So much easier to tote and a far better fit. 12. Toiletry baggie/toothbrush cover Granted it's not a TSA-approved 3-1-1 ziploc bag, but in a pinch, the showercap is the closest thing to it. 13. Shoe covers Keep the dirt from the bottom of your shoes off your clothes by wrapping your shoes in a showercap or two to pack. 14. Hotel room remote control cover As previously discussed, remote controls are the grossest things in a hotel room. A shower cap over it prevents you from touching the nastiness. 15. Steering wheel cover Kind of like the remote control germs, rental cars also have gross stuff on their steering wheels and stick shifts. If the cap is a smaller size and won't fit over the wheel, wrap it around the stick shift. 16. Dirty underwear or swimsuit baggie Keep your dirty underwear separate from the rest of your dirty laundry by stuffing it in a showercap. 17. Picnic snack bowl Did you buy boxes of snacks for a picnic but would like a better way to share than passing around the box? Bring along a few shower caps for makeshift bowls. 18. Dog water bowl or poop bag Again, in a pinch when you're traveling with your dog, throw a shower cap in your pocket and you'll end up using it for one of these things. Hopefully not both. 19. Silverware baggie For hardcore travelers who find themselves in hotels often, silverware is a must-have. Wrap it in a showercap until you're back home and can properly wash it with dish soap. 20. Camera shield Carrying around a camera that cost more than your monthly rent or mortgage shouldn't mean you can't shoot in rainy conditions. Prefit the shower cap on your camera to cut a hole for the lens, and then throw it in with your camera gear for emergency rain protection. MORE 1. Use a shower cap in place of a zipper baggie, to safely store leftovers like sandwich remains, crudités, or the last chunk of crusty bread. A rubber band can help here. Gentlemen, weigh in on this please: Would you do this? I can't 100% picture a plumber putting a sandwich wrapped in a shower cap in his lunch box, but you never know. 2. Use in place of plastic wrap, to top a Tupperware container or a non-Tupperware bowl (like a salad bowl). The built-in elastic makes it easy to custom fit and tighten. Shower caps stretch and will even fit a 9 x 9 pan! Not just for food: Atlanta painter Kass Wilson suggests using a shower cap to cover paint cans while you're painting to keep the paint fresh. 3. Use it to cover the unused half of cut cantaloupes, honeydews, or watermelons. 4. If you save up a nice stash of shower caps, they can be excellent picnic accompaniments. One stretched over the top of each bowl (potato salad, chips, dips, etc) is great for keeping the bugs at bay! 5. Another picnic lifesaver: you can add some ice to the cap and then put a bowl inside of it, so the cap covers the bottom and sides. This creates a little ice box effect and will keep the contents cool for hours. 6. In your home, place a cap under your indoor plants, with the elastic tight around the container. This will help prevent leaking when you water. 7. Conversely, secure the cap over your spring seedlings, which will trap warmth and moisture and create a little greenhouse. Perfect for getting those plants off to a great start! 8. Fill the cap with a bit of water, then fasten around the stems of fresh cut flowers. This acts as a traveling vase, keeping the flowers hydrated while you transplant them. 9. Poke a hole in the center of the shower cap, then slip it over a hanger. Now you've got a shoulder guard to keep any dust or debris from collecting on your fancy clothes 10. For trips that require a change of clothes, put your shoes inside a shower cap before placing them in your suitcase. This will keep the shoes from dirtying any of your other clothes. 11. Keep a few shower caps right by the front door, in case of muddy emergencies. The elastic makes them act as great booties to slip over your shoes. Good cap
Good cap. I don't expect these to be lasting for a long time per se, but product is of decent thickness and allows many days of reuse. Most importantly, the size is great. It's big enough to cover our long hair completely. Great product!

Exceeded my expectations in all ways!
These shower caps are comparable to the nicer shower caps in finer hotels. The cap allows room for long hair to be clipped up and still have room to cover the full hair area. The fit is comfortably snug. I've used 1 for about a month now and it's still in excellent shape. The price simply can't be beat and the quality was far better than I expected.

With this purchase, you receive two very large boxes of processing caps, with 100 caps in each box. It's a much better deal than getting 30 caps for $4.50 from the pharmacy, especially if you deep condition your hair as much as I do. Also, these are the first caps I've been able to find that would fit my entire head. Usually I have to double up on caps which was becoming an annoying waste of money. The elastic around the cap is average. For those who like to get multiple uses out of their caps, I don't think these would hold up for more than one or two uses. They are truly disposable caps. With that said, the elastic on the caps provides an adequate seal around the head. It is not too tight, but it is not loose, either. The only trouble I've had is finding a place to store the box because it is so big, as space is limited in my tiny bathroom cabinets. That's no fault of the manufacturer...it's just something to note if you have limited space. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase. I do love the fact that they come in a box so that I can just pull one out as needed. I'm tired of having caps lying everywhere. I almost forgot...I did have a minor problem with my order. When I placed my order, the item was listed as being in stock. However, through the online tracking I noticed that on the day it was scheduled to arrive, the item had not even been shipped yet. Apparently, it wasn't in stock when I placed my order. Amazon worked to remedy the situation, but I still had to wait several weeks for my item to arrive. But, it was no big deal in the end.

Love these caps. I have thick curly hair and have no problem fitting it in the cap for processing when colouring my hair.

These are definitely not XL. I would know; I have a big head. :p They are also a little weaker than processing caps I would get from Sally's. But, I can still get a couple uses out of them (I know they are disposable, but I like to stretch out their use). I use them as shower caps or for deep conditioning. The elastic band stretches out easily, too. The packaging is awesome. I like the box that they come in. Overall, I think it was a good value for the price when I bought it.
