Great watch and it looks classic.

All in all it does exactly what I was hoping for. A very nice vintage field watch for under $100. The sweep second is a bit clunky (maybe 3 ticks per second instead of a usual 5 from an automatic watch) but still better than 1 per second. Overall looks great and the screw down crown is nice. Hopefully it is waterproof for swimming. Will report back on that. Biggest area for improvement would be the quality of the nylon NATO band which feels a bit like sandpaper. Also the anti-reflection coating definitely can improve.

I started out really wishing Hamilton made a quartz Murph—something grab-and-go with that same classic field watch style. Spoiler: they don’t. But while searching for a decent alternative, I stumbled across the Militado ML08 VH31. This thing punches way above its weight. Every time I check the time, I’m impressed by how good it looks. It nails the vibe I was chasing—simple, legible, military-style design like the Murph, but with a quartz heart (Seiko VH31, smooth sweep). The 38mm size is perfect: comfortable, well-proportioned, and easy to wear. The finishing is better than expected at this price. Brushed case, solid-feeling crown, clean dial printing. For $90 (even though I know it can be found cheaper on other sites), the quality is hard to believe. I would’ve paid $500 for a Hamilton-branded quartz Murph—but this absolutely scratches that itch. The seller was great and shipping was quick. If you’re after a dependable, no-fuss field watch with classic looks and quartz convenience, this one’s worth every penny. Highly recommended.

I've only had this watch for a week, but so far I am very pleased. It is a beautiful watch and the fit and finish are well done. Thus far it has kept perfect time and I really like how the vh31 second hand sweeps. The band that came with it matches well and is comfortable but I changed it out for a black leather band which makes it look a little more upscale. The only thing that may be considered sub par is the lume. It is pretty weak and fades fast but I don't use the watch in the dark so it doesn't really concern me. In conclusion, I would definitely purchase it again.

Excellent value and quantity. I like that it's unbranded. You get the wearing experience of the Swiss watch it's modeled after without the expense. The smooth seconds quartz movement makes it look even more like an automatic. If you're after the look and feel of the expensive automatic, but don't care about having the branding and heritage of the original, this is an inexpensive alternative. It's not an exact "copy," but it's its own thing with the quartz movement and some details. A nice homage at a great price

Decent Murph homage. Good as a solid, daily beater, or to assess whether the design and size of the Murph actually work for you. This helped me avoid spending $$$ on something that I did not resonate with long term from a design standpoint.

Punches way above its weight. The NATO strap seems okay (though I don't care for NATO straps overall, so I choose not to review that portion), but I bought this to put it on a leather strap. Sapphire crystal, stainless body, good water resistance, good lume, it's basically the platonic ideal of a GADA watch.

Watch band is too long for most wrists.

There are tons of YouTube videos praising this watch and it definitely lives up to the hype. You get a lot of watch for your money. It's well made, looks great and even the NATO strap or comes with is better than many aftermarket straps I have seen. For the price you can't go wrong. Very comfortable fit and looks great on my 8 inch wrist.

Great timepiece. These Chinese homage watches get better by the day. I used to be what was considered a watch snob, only interested in the expensive Swiss names, until I came to the realization I was paying for status marketing. This is a great everyday piece.

It is a unique combination of a dress watch and the field watch. Classy look, Seiko movement, affordable price, five starts. Easy.
