Helped my breastfed baby eat and compatible with avent classic bottle rings
I had to get my 4 month old on a bottle ASAP due to an upcoming surgery I was having, and didn't think it would be a problem because he'd taken bottles no problem during a road trip 2 months prior. I was was wrong. SO WRONG. We tried Como Tomo, nuk, ameda, evenflo, and medela. slow flow, fast flow, tepid ,warm, very warm, breast milk , formula, different people, everything we could think of! He finally figured out what he was supposed to do with the nuk, but he kept kind of choking on even the slow flow, he started drinking from the natural avent nipples, same issue. I almost didn't try the lansinoh because at least he was drinking from those two with mostly success, but I'm so glad I did because he actually likes these and no problems with them! They don't leak out of the nipple unless he actually sucks on them so he doesn't get surprised and choke even though they are medium flow, and I guess the shape doesn't make him gag either like some of the others. He drinks twice as much as before and is so much happier. Now that I'm recovered he has no problem switching back and forth from breastfeeding either. Thank you Lansinoh! Definitely with a shot if your baby is picky or gags easily. I would also like to say that both the nuk and Lansinoh nipple fit in the classic agent bottle rings. I was really glad not to have to buy all new bottles for my 3rd baby, as I have plenty by now!
