It's great but be careful
I love that it gave me some freedom back after multiple surgeries but do keep a few things in mind if you purchase this. The battery can last for multiple days around the house and short trips but hills will drain it quickly. Don't plan on getting up a hill or steep driveway if you have less than 4 lights on the battery indicator (there are 5 indicator lights total). Don't get in a situation where the battery gets too low going up a hill because if the battery goes out, you are basically in neutral and the hand brakes are not good enough to stop you on anything more tham a slight incline. It can also be dangerous on slopes and hills at any time since the front wheels will go in whatever direction the downward slope is, and rear wheels don't have enough traction to always compensate. You'll likely slide some when trying to use the joystick in the opposite direction, so account for that extra distance. If possible, I've actually found that just going full speed ahead is better with less sliding but that can be scary in some circumstances. Overall, this is great for the price but again, just be careful when you're getting accustomed to it. I did fall out once, when the front wheels went left towards a curb and I couldn't stop before I went over, but luckily I was fine. I still use my manual wheelchair as much as possible but this one is great when I'm too tired or sore around the house and even allows me to check the mail now. It's great for getting out of the house for trips or activities and easy to get in/out of the car. The legs are super easy to remove and it is very comfortable, especially with another cushion added. There's a lot of good things about this wheelchair but there are just a few things to be extra careful about. Maybe the biggest suggestion I can make is never go it alone. Having someone there to spot you, just in case, could make this a wonderful purchase. Enjoy but please be careful, I'd hate for someone else to take a spill and actually get hurt
