I ended up going from a level 10 bleached blonde down to a level 7 dark blonde with a well known permanent hair dye brand, and I wasn't happy with the results. I ended up with a slightly greenish 'hollow' muddy brown look that I wasn't happy with. So I came across this product in 'bronde' and read some reviews, and thought well, for the money, let's give it a go! I'm glad I did! I'm the mask added some lovely deep tones to my hair that has ridden me of the horrible green tinge jn my hair, and has given me a lovely dark blonde. I left the mask in for about half hour, completely saturating my hair, then conditioned for a minute just to add moisture and I ended up with lovely, well conditioned and shiny hair, thats absorbed the colour evenly. The smell is lovely, easy enough to use, and I think the price is really good. I had to out quite a lot on my hair just to ensure the green tone was taken out, but I believe that you can also mix these colour bombs together to make a perfect tone which is good, so if I decide I want to transition to a richer brown colour, I can mix in with warm blonde to make into a nice golden dark blonde/light brown colour. These hair masks are so much better than permanent dye. Permanent dye is so unpredictable and damaging so after using this mask I was able to achieve the colour I wanted. Not sure how long it will last as its only been a day since I've done it, but it definitely works. Leaves hair well conditioned, shiny and covers hair strands with no damage! What more can a girl want eh? I would recommend!!! Update: I HAVE CURRENTLY USED THE NEW 'JEROME RUSSELL BRUNETTE' IN COOL BROWN, and it didn't take to my hair like the 'bronde' in this original review did. Didn't cover my natural hair or greys, and the colour didn't even take to my already medium brown hair. It did however leave it nice and shiny and helped the condition of my hair. But the brunette colour is very pricey for what it is £14.99, and because it didn't work the way intended, I wouldn't recommend this particular colour in the brunettes range. Overpriced and ineffective and I'm very disappointed. For this I'd give a 2 STAR only for the condition and shine it leaves afterwards.

Stunning. I have tried so many toners and colour combinations after a bleach bath to find they absolutely ruin my hair dry it and colour products not right either too purple or dull or overdone. This is heaven sent. Fabulous colour bomb ten minutes and my hair comes out the perfect shade of white (after a bleach bath taking my natural colouring almost to orange ) with no damage no dryness just perfect for me. Heaven sent thank goodness i now have a perfect routine for whitening my hair. I have since used a well respected conditioner after bleaching washed that out then applied this - great result. The colour is vivid and beautiful. Hair is left feeling pretty moisturised. My 4-star is actually to do with bottle design as you can't use all the product!! There's no way to get everything out without cutting the bottle open (which seems a little drastic!). It's good colour but you are left with a good 5-10ml of product that is impossible to use!

Absolutely incredible, the colour is so vibrant and actually stays. I’ve washed my hair multiple times since dying it and it’s hardly faded. Completely fried my hair last year with different box dyes to the point I had to cut a load of my hair off because the ends were so bad. But I don’t feel myself without my hair dyed so I was trying to find a healthier alternative, that was when I came across the Colour Bomb Mask. Every time I dyed my hair it washed out within a few days because my hair is so dry and porous. But after using the colour bomb, my hair felt nourished rather than parched 🤭 I can’t believe how well this product has worked for me, the results have been amazing and retained well. And what I LOVE about this product is that it can be used regularly because it’s better for your hair!!! I couldn’t be happier with this dye and I 100% recommend it!! (first video is freshly dyed and the next image is 4 washes later, still can’t believe how well it’s stayed in my hair despite it being so porous!!)

This is easy to use and the pump bottle makes is convenient. I used the cool brown because I don’t like warmth on my hair, It gives a gloss to the hair. However, it does absolutely nothing for grey hair. I’ve previously used the Wella gloss which does cover grey not completely but makes them less noticeable, which is what I like, this however does not. Makes zero difference to grey but gives a nice shine. I won’t be repurchasing and will go back to wella.

My hair has always been naturally red and I have just turned 50 years old. Recently my hair has started to lose it's natural red colour pigment and the roots were looking really pale (more like very light blond than grey, the hair texture is the same though it's not course like you would expect grey hair to feel) I bought this product hoping that the colour mask would blend the roots in with my natural red colour. I used as directed and as I know from researching this subject that hair at the roots and hair going grey is harder to dye than the rest of the hair so I applied the mask carefully to my roots ONLY first then lastly to the rest of my hair. The colour mask was on my roots for the full time (as per the instructions) but only on the rest of my hair for the last 5 minutes as the rest of my hair didn't really require colouring. I couldn't believe the results. My roots did not change in colour AT ALL but the rest of my hair was now bright luminous orange! I have never bleached my hair and my hair is in good condition so I don't know why it went so orange so quickly and why my roots didn't absorb any of the colour at all? I would definitely not advise to use this product for grey coverage and I would warn that it could turn your hair luminous orange, its a very unnatural colour and looked horrendous. I had to wash it about 20 times to get it to fade a bit and in the end I had to use bicarbonate soda mixed with head and shoulders (read this tip online) to finally get the orange out! So I wasted my money and I still have roots that have no colour. I would be very grateful of a refund if possible as it was quite expensive (for me) Thank you x

It adds a bit of colour and takes away bassinet, it also makes your hair soft. I usually put a shower cap over it & leave it on 20 minutes before rinsing. I thought "ice blonde" would be too white but it just makes it a little cooler.

My hair was virgin medium brown when I dyed it a deep burgundy at a salon (without bleach). It was nice but a little disappointing because it was only visible in sunlight, and the change was barely visible indoors. Disappointed, and feeling helpless and hopeless as I was against bleaching, I tried this product in Berry Red and was anxious about trying it because I didn’t know if it will work on my darker hair. BUT IT DID. The Berry Red has a pinkish tint to it which was exactly what I wanted, because it blended nicely with the burgundy base and made the purplish burgundy tone that I desperately wanted!! As I was drying and styling it, the colour was noticeable in indoor lighting. It still needs to be under lighting to appear in its full vividness, but it certainly satisfied me. The product is easy to clean off the bathroom tiles and sink, a spritz from a basic bathroom cleaner easily cleared it so it’s not at all hard to clean up. On the skin, however, I made the stains go away with facial cleanser on a cotton pad and it took a few rubs but it does go away so I find it quite easy to clean up, but it IS messy so definitely wear gloves and take off any jewellery. The water runs pink when rinsing it off the hair and the product leaves pinkish stains so this shade like I mentioned before has a pinkish undertone which is something you should keep in mind if you’re layering shades like I am. The bottle came a little smaller than I expected, but the product itself is quite saturated and I didn’t feel I had to use too much of it on my long hair (I avoided the roots and top crown but applied it onto 90% of my long hair) so I feel it would last me a while. It did leave my hair nicely soft and smooth when I was styling it with my hot comb afterwards. It smells nice but it’s not exceptionally fragrant, it just smells pleasant. It was easy to apply (I used my gloved hands and a wide-toothed comb). All in all, absolutely lovely product, did not disappoint with my darker hair, and provided the extra brightness I wanted.
