Super easy to install. Love the colors that are offered for the pedals. Bought these to replace the plastic pedals my bike came with and they offer a lot of grip when pedaling. Really like the thin profile and how light they are. Definitely recommend these for the price

I have not ridden on platforms in over 12 years. A friend talked me into trying it again. I do not like to borrow equipment from people and I did not want to spend a bunch of money on a set of peddles I might not like. I also didn't want to buy a pair of junk peddles. I searched until I found these peddles. The shape and component material are the same as a couple of high end name brand peddles. I decided to take a chance. I couldn't be happier! I like to adventure race and I do not like wasting time changing shoes. I rode the peddles with my trail runners and they worked great! I rode them on some of the steeper trails in the Helena MT trail system and never rolled a peddle. I cannot believe the confidence I have with these peddles. I was able to corner so much better and faster just being able to drop a foot if I needed to. These peddles are big enough and strong enough to start from a complete stop on a steep and not slip. I highly recommend these peddles! Side note. If you write a review for these peddles do not use the product name. The Amazon robots that screen the reviews will block you for using profanity.

Pros: I have a 2018 Trek Rosco 8, and these pedals are cheap and feel of good quality. Installed these went and pedalled around my street and hit my kids little kicker I built them and my feet were planted. Great foot coverage over the stock welgo pedals I had on the Trek. Also the little hex bolts really bite into your shoes when riding. I can confidently hit jumps without the fear of my foot slipping off my pedals now. I bought the orange color to run with my bike, and yeah, it's orange. Bearings seem solid but I really need longer time to dictate this. If your feet get wet "I haven't experienced this yet" but I can confidently say these will pass the test and your feet won't slip off. I've ridden Bmx dirt jumps my whole life growing up and rode hard. With that being said I owned magnesium Primo $90 pedals with the same features and these are a good deal for the price for sure. Granted nylon vs magnesium metal, the metal will hold up in the long run. But im ok with this considering $25, also since I've had stock plastic pedals last/ take a beating with my history. Cons: no washers that they said they were supposed to come with. This is to help with crank interference/clicking, which I didn't need in my case....but still the fact they were apart to be their. Also no extra pins. When the box came in wasn't seals very well. So their is a good possibility this all fell out in transit.🤔 This review is off of a quick stroll and not longevity. If anything changes I'll report back.

Very happy with the pedals for the money. This is the third pair we have put on different mountain bikes and one gravel bike. They have held up to pedal strikes in XC races for the school team. Provide plenty of grip for those who don’t want to be clipped in when riding. The oldest pair is starting the fourth season and still going strong.

Too bad the price went up on these pedals, but I think at the current price they are still a great buy. I bought these pedals last year and found them to be great for my MTB. I had one problem with them after a few rides. The left pedal started making a clicking noise and I thought oh no they have to be returned. I saw no damage or cracks so I knew it was a bearing. I took the shaft out with the bearing (easy if you have the right tools). The grease in the bearings was like sticky syrup and hard to get off your fingers, never seen anything like this stuff, sticking to my fingers like glue. After some work cleaning the bearings several times with lacquer thinner they seem to be well made bearing with no clicking or excess play. Applying REAL bearing grease, not sticky pancake syrup, everything looked good. After reassemble and install the pedal worked perfectly. Been using them for almost a year now and no problem. The right pedal never gave any problems. Go figure.

Wife likes them on her Scott MTB

I've run Race Face Chester pedals on my bikes for a couple years. I also like to switch up the color schemes of my bikes kind of frequently, but at $40-50 for a pair of Chesters I always just got black. At only $21, I felt if these didn't work out I wasn't out much and could experiment with different colors. When I pulled them out of the box I was impressed how similar they were to Chester's not only in looks but in feel. The material did not feel cheaper, the pedals weighed within a few grams of the Chester's, and there were no manufacturing defects or rough spots. They threaded on easily and spin the desired amount. I'll need to put a lot more miles on to know if they have a shorter lifespan than the name brand pedals, but at $21 they'd have to crap out on my really quickly for me to be disappointed. I had my fingers crossed that there would be a way to take the logo off because it's the only downside. Ugly logo and dumb name, but I can get over my vanity to save over 50%. Ordering a second pair for my gravel bike now.
