I've been using robotic vacuum cleaners since 2020 – from budget Chinese models to the so-called "premium" ones like Dreame. Unfortunately, most of them didn’t even survive a year. Dreame, in particular, was a major disappointment. Narwal Freo Z Ultra – my latest addition. Honestly, it’s on a different level. Build & Navigation: First thing you'll notice is the superior build quality. It feels solid and well-engineered. But what really blew me away is the navigation. My apartment is about 2400 sq ft, and this machine moves through it like it knows the layout better than I do! We have a kid, so the floor’s often scattered with toys – yet, the Narwal navigates with surprising ease. Hair Handling: We are a joint family of 7 people, including 4 women along with my 89-year-old grandmother. Naturally, there's hair fall. One of my biggest pain points with previous vacuums was cleaning hair from the brushes every single day. But this? It’s like magic. The way it handles human hair is just brilliant. Truly hands-free cleaning at last! The brush truly works! This is a USP for Narwal. From low models to higher end ones you will find these brushes and it just works! App & Performance: The app is feature-rich and user-friendly. The vacuum is a bit on the heavier side, but that adds to its stability during cleaning. The base station is wide but has a low height, which is great in terms of space utilization. Cons (or things to be aware of): Height: It’s slightly taller than my old Dreame L10s Ultra. As a result, it now misses cleaning under one of the beds. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning. Electricity Consumption: Not exactly a con, but the dryer runs often to keep mop pads moisture-free. Since I clean in three sessions (3am, 10am, 4pm) due to house size and my experience with robotic vacuums, the dryer is working almost the whole day. I’ll track power consumption with a smart plug and update soon. The Real Challenge – Accessories & Cost: This is where it hurts. Accessories are crazy expensive in India: Floor cleaning liquid (650ml) – ₹1999 Dustbin bags – ₹800 per bag Mop pads – ₹999/pair Auto water exchange kit – ₹15–17k (ideally a pump with some plastic containers?) Honestly, this is not sustainable for the average Indian buyer. My humble suggestion to Narwal: manufacture accessories locally and bring down the price. Current pricing feels like a straight USD-to-INR conversion (x85/90), which doesn’t make sense for a growing market like ours. Customer Support – Yet to Test: With Dreame, customer support was a nightmare (pun intended). I had to tweet their CEO just to get a reply. I hope Narwal does better. If I ever face issues, I’ll update here on how their support fares. Bonus Features: Yes, it even has a microphone – so you can video call your vacuum, lol. Surprisingly, the camera quality is quite good. --- Final Verdict: If you’re tired of unreliable Chinese robot vacuums, Narwal Freo Z Ultra is a solid, dependable choice. It’s ideal for Indian homes – whether you have kids, elders, pets, or long hair all over the place. Just keep an eye on accessory costs. Overall, a very satisfying and premium experience. Dust collection is spot on absolutely NO hair tangle on ZERO tangle floating brush so no mess in hand B: Super streak free mopping ,mop is washed and dried by itself that is Totally smell free ,it has separate buckets of almost 5ltr of fresh water (purple Jar ) and grey water bucket (white jar ) so later u can discard the dirty grey water .C: Super LiDAR navigation can dodge the obstacles in it’s route like small fabric or shoes wires, toys. Works pretty much silently you use at night when sleeping 😃😃. Works on any surface Tiles, wood, carpet. Base station gives Notification on app and with voice as well. You have various options for customization in app too how you want your rooms to be cleaned ,when to be cleaned like vacuum first Mop later or only mop. You Can use Remotely from anywhere .Super AI robot . Cons :Product assembly done manually by us which was fun and easy peasy and You have virtual products help ready in any doubt .

We purchased the Narwal robot vacuum/mop and used it for about 8 months without major issues. After this period, the robot started showing repeated errors on the app, specifically stating that the water tank was empty even when it was completely filled. The robot stopped detecting the water tank altogether. We contacted Narwal customer support via email and were told the unit would be repaired or replaced. As instructed, we sent the robot to their service center in Ghaziabad. What we received in return was extremely disappointing. Instead of a proper replacement, they sent us an older unit of the same model, clearly used and in very poor condition. The replacement robot was dirty, had visible cracks, and looked nothing like a refurbished or quality-checked product. Worse, the replacement does not function properly at all: • Leaves water and dirt residue all over the floor • Does not clean corners properly • Overall cleaning performance is far worse than the original unit We have contacted their support team multiple times via calls and emails and have shared all proof, but there has been no proper resolution. Despite acknowledging the issue earlier, they have neither replaced the unit with a new or equivalent product nor fixed the problem. For a premium-priced robot, this level of after-sales support is unacceptable. The product itself may work initially, but if anything goes wrong, be prepared for a very frustrating experience. I would strongly advise potential buyers to consider the quality of customer service before purchasing.

I Have been using this product for more than a month and it has completely changed how I maintain my home. The vacuuming and mopping performance is excellent — it picks up fine dust and hairs easily, and the self-cleaning mop feature is a huge plus. I really like how intelligently it maps the house and avoids obstacles without getting stuck , It saves me so much time and effort on a daily basis Overall, totally worth the investment if you want a premium, hands-free cleaning experience!

Very very disappointed with this product. Going for Indian product would be a better option anytime.Have bought this in October 2025.within a month started getting error and stopped working. After two months of that again the same thing happened.There is no technical support from company to do home visit.So whenever the machine shows error and stops working you have to pack up the product and keep the parcel ready so a courier company will carry that to service centre and they will repair.This process takes a month. We have faced this machine breakdown 3 times in last 6months of purchase and now we have to send the it again second time for the review and repair. We requested machine replacement as within couple of months it's requiring a repair but that was not considered. It's a big headache as we have to fill up the forms which is again tedious and send emails and calls to get things done. If within a warranty period this is happening then post that I wonder how much trouble we are going to face. Do not buy this if you dont want to increase your work rather than reducing it.
