Should help a lot
Just unwrapped these bad boys and they'll do the trick for sure... as long as they don't snap. The hardware seems adequate, it's not mountaineering gear but for the price they're good. Stretch is adequate, do be careful mounting and unmounting... the design makes it difficult to smack yourself anyway. Videos on youtube are adequate with a few shots freeze framed to examine details on how it attaches to the chin-up bar. The wide ranging length strap ought to fit any size person with an adjustable height bar. Fixed bar folks, might have a more difficult time adjusting the length because it adjusts at the overhead bar, but again, for the price... You could buy a mountaineering adjustment strap though, and "rated" carabiners, but this is a nice price point to see if it works for you... And before long you can get rid of it when you become strong enough to not need it :D

Safety
Overall i like the product but it did take some time to figure out where exactly to put the height on the band and how much resistance to use so that it’s comfortable. I will also say be mindful of how much resistance weight your pull up bar can handle. In the mist of me trying to find the correct weight with band, the pull up bar fell off the frame now leaving me with a swollen foot. I’m sharing this experience for the next person to take extra safety precautions.

Great value. Works great!
Well worth the small cost! Works like a champ. Pull-up assist and tricep push downs daily with this thing!

Strongly made pullup assistance bands
UPDATE: I decided to return due to the awkwardness of hanging on while trying to get my feet placed, swinging while doing so. I am only 5' 3" and it had to be pretty short for me to get enough lift which also created me to step up on a step stool. I had to share the pullup with my hubby of 6' 7" so you can imagine how high up the pullup bar had to be for it to work for him. Also, the sliding on the cross bar was unnerving making me feel unsteady and worried about falling. The rest of my review still stands and will work great for taller people or if a shorter person can lower the pullup bar to a level that suits them. END UPDATE The Fitarc assistance bands are made really well, of which there is no doubt. The natural rubber bands are thick and strong. I can adjust the assistance by easily removing or adding a band. The nylon webbing is strong and stitched tightly. The foot handle step design is a bit awkward at first until you get used to it. When all the bands are connected this acts more like a TRX band when rowing. I can lean all the way back and they barely stretch for me at 150 lbs and same for my hubby who is 220 lbs. Now the downside with this assistance bands version. It is more of a struggle to get my feet placed properly in the stirrups unlike rubber loop bands. The nylon strap is slippery on the cross bar causing it to slip sideways when trying to place 2nd foot while trying to hang onto the bar unlike rubber loop bands. Even set at the shortest setting it doesn't work for me. I have to wrap it 2x around the bar and then clip it. It also tends to swing terribly until I can stabilize it with placement of both feet. Then it is strong, and the swing is controlled. This is the same when my hubby tries it. When dismounting I deal with the same issue needing to be careful, so I don't fall. I find overall it is quality pullup assistance bands with a bit of a trial and error to figure out best positioning. It will definitely get the job done for us, but I still feel more awkward with instability until both feet are placed well in the stirrups and then it provides strong support. Time will tell if I end up loving it or hating hit.

Assisted Pull Ups on Pull Up Bar
I set a goal to be able to do a pull up this year. I bought a pull up bar and installed it into my door frame. I was making progress, but needed the extra support to get my form right. I bought this and was able to attach it onto my pull bar. I use all the bands and attach the hook to the tightest and am able to do my assisted pull ups. It look a few tries to get the set up right, but it definitely works!

More Frustration Than Help
I thought this would make pull ups easier to practice, but it ended up being a constant struggle. Setting it up took longer than expected, and even after adjusting everything, it just didn’t feel secure. The straps were awkward to deal with, and getting the tension right was more complicated than it should be. It felt like I was spending more time fiddling with it than actually working out. The handles were stiff and uncomfortable too, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. I tried different combinations to find the right level of support, but the resistance felt inconsistent. One minute it felt too tight, the next too loose. And instead of helping with form, it threw mine off completely. It didn’t feel smooth or natural at all, and honestly, it made me more nervous than motivated. After a few uses, I just gave up on it altogether. Not the kind of tool I’d rely on for building strength.

Good as a training wheel!
Pretty good product. I was skeptical at first. I can lift a good weight for a beginner but I can’t for the life of me get pull ups down. With this, I feel like I’m getting progress finally. I probably won’t need it once I’ve got them down but this a perfect “training wheels” product.
