Greenworks 60V 10" Brushless Cordless Pole Saw, 14.5 Ft. Reach, 2.0Ah Battery & Charger

Was a little hesitant about a battery operated pole saw since I live on large acreage and all my equipment is gas powered. Assembly of 3 pole pieces was extremely easy in 5 minutes. Poles and chain saw attachment seem heavy duty and well made. Battery is large and has an internal temperature fan that runs noise while charging so charge in the garage not in the house. Charges extremely fast in 45 minutes to full charge so even if battery runs out during use just take a lunch break and it will be ready to use again. Filling bar oil tank is little difficult first time but after that it’s a breeze. Overflows easy and is small so just go slow when refilling tank. Chain jumped off once during 4 hours of use but it was my fault for not tightening bolt. It never came off after that so just check it periodically. Chain is easy to remove and adjust. Can tighten chain by one exterior screw without removing entire bolt cover so very convenient and accessible. Power button cannot be depressed until a tab is pushed forward which is counter intuitive but I got used to it quickly. Power to the chain is slow to cycle to full power unlike a typical chain saw. Let chain reach full speed before you lower it to cut branch. Will stop chain if not. Power is not as good as a gas saw but still cuts quickly. Runs very quiet compared to a gas chain saw. I used it to cut and trim the edge along woods in a clearing where tree branches were overhanging after an ice storm last year. Got the job done quickly and efficiently. I was surprised how good this pole saw works and it cut a ton of branches both large and small. It is a little hard to balance with the heavy battery on one end and chain saw head on the other but it is manageable. I even used it standing on a 8 foot ladder to reach higher branches and survived without falling. If I had paid a tree service to do the work, it would cost $1000 so this pole saw literally paid for itself 3X over in just one use. As far as longevity, I don’t care how long it lasts because I’ll just buy another one when it fails because it’s so cheap. Plus it’s so fast and easy to put into service and use. Check the prices on a quality gas powered pole saw $$$$ and it’s a no brainer. I am very experienced using gas chain saws over 45 years. I am not a big supporter of battery powered equipment for large properties but this would be the exception so that says something. Highly recommend this pole saw, it’s a great value and quality piece of equipment to add to your shed full of gas equipment.

Excellent tool. Works great in cutting through medium-size branches with nice reach. I got this after the failure of two electric pole saws that came with an electric pruner. The pruner was fine but the saw was horrible - each motor failed after two cuts. With this unit I have made about 20 cuts, using both sides of the chain straight on and at angles and the chain has stayed on without issue. Nice power. Highly recommend, particularly for those who already have these 60V batteries, though this unit came with battery and charger. Now, branches are no longer touching the shingles on my roof and I don’t have to duck around branches when mowing the lawn!

Great battery longevity, sharp blade, and easy assembly. Couldn't work better, but the 14.5' reach is not exactly what people might think. A lot of that reach comes from your arms, which is a bit of a stretch, no pun intended. They should say how long the total extension is, rather than making it seem like it reaches 14.5' due to the length of it.

This was a 5 star purchase. I had looked at options and considered a gas powered version thinking that electric options would not have enough power. But, this electric pole saw works great. It is easy to use and cuts well. I bought this for routine yard purposes, not heavy use or for large cuts. Works great for tree branches of small to medium sizes. So far, it has worked well and seems to be durable. A good purchase at a good price.

4-22-26 I love the freedom of not having to drag a cord around. This pole saw is a bit heavy BUT well balanced and well made. It appears very well made and sturdy. I used it for the first time last week and it did a fantastic job cutting the 4" diameter tree limbs that needed to be cut. I'm sure it would have done the same on larger limbs but I didn't have any larger. I used Greenworks bio chain lubricant in the saw and it worked perfect too. I am a fan.

Works great for the first few months. Then the chain just won’t stay on while cutting.. maybe it gets dull? Smooth operation early only to be a hassle after a few months.

Works really well. With a ladder you can get some pretty high branches. It's a bit on the heavy side. You can get quite a bit done on a charge. My workers had the chain come off a couple of times but it's not to hard to put back on and tension is adjustable. All in all I'm happy with it. I wish it was a little lighter especially the cutting end.

Received this product today, oil was listed as being included in the order list. There was no oil send with the pkg. Only choose two stars because the product has not been used yet.

Beware of the seller if you buy a defective item from this seller like this item was you will be expected to pay return costs that are very expensive . My case on this matter is still pending.
