I got this for my cars window but you could use this on any window. Push the button to release the liquid and apply it. Once you do use a microfiber towel to clean it up and you have a clean window getting rid of any oil buildup. It’s much better than your typical window cleaner.

Cleaner does not flow out of the sponge. Only the center of the sponge gets damp and the result is very little cleaning product no matter how much you squeeze, rub, scrub. It’s a great idea but I don’t think it’s the best execution

If you use a product like Rain-X, then you know that it works well for keeping your windshield clear when it rains. This cleaning brush is a single use brush that contains a water repelling chemical that coats your windshield with an invisible film that helps water bead up and fling off your windshield when it’s raining. Applying the product requires a little more elbow grease than I expected, as you have to constantly push down on it to squeeze out the product onto the sponge. It takes several swipes with the brush to apply it evenly on the windshield, making sure to cover the entire glass surface. There was enough in one brush to cover a large SUV windshield. Any rain water that hits your windshield instantly flows off (while the car is moving), and even when sitting still, water tends to bead up and give you a clearer view of the road ahead. For me and my family, I use this product on all our cars, as it makes a noticeable difference in visibility. This product works reasonably well, but some other ones seem to work a little better in causing the water to bead up. I haven’t had it long enough to see if it lasts longer than about three months before having to reapply it, but it will also depend on how much rain you get.

This does exactly what it claims to. Removes dirt and grease from windows and leaves them clean and water repellent. It’s easy to use and well designed. It’s a great product and at a great price.

Useless

The automotive oil film cleaning brush is an excellent tool for maintaining spotless car windows and windshields. These seem best used after you have already wiped down your windows. I do like how convenient and affordable these are. They are much easier to grab than a spray and rag when you need to rainproof your windshield. They do seem to leave more of an oily residue than more traditional methods, but do seem to work and hold for a good time! The lifetime of the bars does seem to go for a while as well!
