These are for the top of your foot and work great
I fractured my foot and had to wear these. I only needed one for my right foot and these are hard to find. Glad Amazon had them. The really helped alleviate some pain I had.

Directions incorrect
The directions for use are incorrect. It states to apply the sticky side of the pad directly to the foot. The pads are suppose to be applied inside the shoe. However, they serve the purpose when placed in the proper position inside the shoe.

Dont waste your money
These are the thinnest pads I have ever seen, doesn't offer any sort of support or relief. MAYBE if you double our tripled them. Otherwise- not worth it.

Total Game Changer!
I’ve been suffering terribly from metatarsal pain for several months. I went to a podiatrist and he prescribed orthotics that I purchased here on Amazon and the tear drop shaped metatarsal pads. No relief. A few days ago I purchased these inserts and I’m almost as good as new again. They are AMAZING! You have to put a drop of felt marker or lipstick on the bottom of your foot right where your pain is coming from, then put your foot into your shoe, or on the inner sole of your shoe, and then apply the pad right behind your painful spot. Be sure to just remove a bit of the plastic film on the bottom of the pad while determining the exact placement because it’s a bit difficult to move them around once you’ve stuck them all the way in because they adhere really well.

Not too good will not stay in place.
Sticky area is not good Socks and panty hose constantly get stuck. Next step is to tape inside shoe with Gorilla Tape to prevent sticking to everything.

An expensive mistake
Dreadful. Uncomfortable, hard and difficult to place accurately in shoe. Not fit for purpose. Not eligible for a return either. An expensive mistake. Would have chosen zero stars but required to give something or comment will not submit! No stars

So small a toddler would be better using them and so flat that you don't know they are there, so what's the point?
