Perfect for scale modeling
I've been looking around for a small mixing cup for a while now, and I just haven't found a proper one.I bought Mr Hobby paint cups, but they are too wide and deep; basically too much surface area for paint to stick to. I've used the small, plastic shot glasses; those have ridges which make mixing and pouring difficult. So, I took a gamble on these. Worst case, I have a bunch of random one use cups for resin and whatnot. These surpassed my expectations. They are the perfect size! I wanted something that was just a tiny version of the automotive mixing cups. Straight walls, no ridges, high quality plastic so paint shouldn't stick, and very little surface area.I left some lacquer thinner in one for a bit, and zero melting. These will work perfectly.

Wish I had seen these years ago.
I bought thes to mix small batches of 2-part (liquid) epoxy. In some cases, the set/cure time is 5-10 minutes. Clearly the cups had to be disposable. These are reasonably priced; they are much more rigid than paper cups; the clear-walled construction makes it easy to see relative amounts of parts A&B; and they two graduated milliliter scales on the sides of the cup. Perfect? In my case--yes. The user will find that, more often than not, a stirrer smaller than a popsicle stick, is preferred. The latter are readily available and very cheap--I use lollipop sticks about 1/8 inch diameter by 3 inches long. The popsicle sticks can be easily split to make small stirrers as well.

Great disposable mixing cups for small batch two part epoxy

Good quaility; numbers are on the inside
These work really well for mixing small amounts of colors of resin, although they're such good quality I don't feel like they're quite disposable.I actually got these because I wanted to use them for casting in, unfortunately the numbers are on the inside which meant they couldn't be used for that. (Or they can but the markings will show.)

Graduation marks not accurate
These are dry useful for mixing epoxy, however the graduation marks on the side are not accurate. Epoxy requires a fairly exact 1:1 mix, and if you fill ro the 10cc mark with one part and then fill to the 20cc mark with the second part you will not have an exact ratio and your epoxy will never cure completely. So you Basic lt. habe to use two cups for every mix and pour each part to the same mark in separate cups then combine.

Wonderful products!
These were a must-have for my resin jewelry projects to accurately measure the resin. Both are very sturdy and hold up to the heat put off by mixing the resin with the hardener. I really like how the measurements on the sides of the cups are so easy to read, even for someone who needs trifocals.

Good quality for price
Great product. I use it for resin. I don’t use the measuring lines so can’t speak to that part but have learned from a lot of trial and error that precision is necessary so use another method to measure. I really like these and they seem sturdier than previous mixing cups. I will reorder

Saves money in the long run
Previously, I used to mix up too much epoxy when filling voids and cracks in my woodworking. These simple graduated cups (and handy mixing sticks) have helped me manage my epoxy use to ensure I am not being wasteful, and use equal portions of resin & hardener. Ultimately, this purchase has saved me money in the long run.
