We bought this NUK cup hoping it would be a reliable water bottle for our toddler, but it has some major design flaws that make it both frustrating and unsafe. The first issue is with the straw. When the lid is closed, the straw makes contact with the bottom of the bottle, so you cannot suck any water out. To get it to work, we always have to partially unscrew the bottle, which, of course, causes it to leak constantly. This completely undermines the "leak-proof" promise. More importantly, despite the fact that we thoroughly disassemble and wash all the parts of the lid, after a few months, we discovered thick black mould growing inside a part of the plastic lid that is inaccessible and impossible to clean. This is a serious problem with these types of cups and is a direct result of a design that traps moisture in hidden crevices, allowing mould to thrive. I can’t recommend this product. A cup that cannot be fully cleaned and leaks constantly is not worth the risk.

I spent a fortune on all types of cups because my son didn't accept any appart his milk bottle. He only accepts water from it and it is all I need. This sip cup is a life saver for me. Minor leaks, that happen if you intentionally shake it keeping lid down, no issue at all for me. Nothing to complain about.

Nice looking bottle but it is described as leak proof and it leaks everywhere - all over my daughters bed several times so not fit for purpose. Not able to message the seller to request a refund or replacement

I bought this bottle to take my toddler from a milk bottle to a drink bottle for an evening drink of milk. It has worked but the bottle claims to be spill proof which isn’t the case. If you tip it upside down and shake it, liquid spills out. It also will not fit in a microwave upright which is fair enough but a bit of a pain for us or anyone who would want to microwave sterilise. The bottle is made of plastic too meaning if you put a cold drink in this, it would warm quickly in summer. On more positive notes, the bottle is a lovely design and all parts are easily removed and cleaned. The bottle can be used with or without the straw which is a bonus for our purpose for it. It’s very expensive for what it is, but it’s worked for what we needed for so overall, I am happy with this purchase. If you are after a water bottle though, I would suggest looking for something cheaper as there are plenty of options out there.

The bottle itself is a good size and nice design but the lid is flimsy and gets gunk and grim caught underneath the rim so easily. Ended up binning the lid and using it for an at home bottle only. Not worth the money

I picked the Nike mini me flip plastic. My daughter is autistic and has been using the Nuk baby beakers for about 5 years. I haven’t used tried so many different bottles and she took to this straight away as the spout is the same as the beaker. I wanted something a bit more quick flowing and this does the job without leaking. Other reviews people have complained about the lid but I was able to slip it off, it doesn’t really need a lid anyway. I am very happy with this product and happy for my daughter that at the age of nearly 6 we can stop using the baby beakers. I picked plastic to warm milk in the microwave, you can microwave them.

He comprado varias botellas NUK y todas han digo perfectamente, pero a esta no sé que le pasa, pero no cierra hermética por mucho que apretes y por lo tanto se moja todo. Una pena y mala suerte.

Muito bom e bonito. Não conserva água gelada por muito tempo mas no calor do MT, minha bebê bebe tanta água que nem dá tempo de ficar água na garrafa por muito tempo mesmo.

Hält dicht und ist bisher noch nicht ausgelaufen. Kann mit oder ohne Strohhalm benutzt werden und ist kinderleicht.

Uns gefällt die Flasche sehr gut. Unser Sohn nutzt Sie für Nachts neben dem Bett. Wir haben die durchsichtige Kappe entfernt da wir diese nur für den Transport sinnvoll finden. Diese lässt dich einfach nach unten abschieben. Die Reinigung der Flasche ist kein Problem. Die Teile vom Flip Strohhalm lassen sich einfach zerlegen. Fazit: Wir können die Flasche weiterempfehlen.
