Great product
The PlazMask Pre-Taped Masking Film has been a game-changer in my DIY projects. This ingenious product combines the convenience of tape with a protective masking film, making it incredibly easy to prep and paint any surface. Whether it's a small touch-up or a larger painting project, this masking film has consistently delivered exceptional results. One of the standout features is the generous size of the roll, measuring 5-feet by 65-feet. This ample coverage means I can tackle a variety of tasks without constantly needing to replace or reposition the film. It's a time-saver, and it significantly reduces the hassle of taping and protecting adjacent areas. The adhesive on the tape is strong but doesn't leave behind any residue, ensuring that my paint lines are crisp and clean. I appreciate the attention to detail in designing this product, as it shows that the manufacturers understand the needs of DIY enthusiasts. Another aspect I love is the durability of the film. It can withstand paint splatters, drips, and even minor abrasions without tearing or compromising the protection it provides. This makes it a reliable choice for both indoor and outdoor projects. In terms of value, the PlazMask Pre-Taped Masking Film offers an affordable solution compared to buying separate rolls of masking film and tape. Plus, the time and effort saved during each project are invaluable. Overall, I can't recommend the PlazMask Pre-Taped Masking Film enough. It has simplified my DIY painting endeavors, saved me time, and consistently delivered outstanding results. If you're a DIY enthusiast like me, this product is a must-have for your toolkit.

stick well
great quality, and the price is great. Tape stick very well and doesn't leave adhesive after painting with solvent base paints

its ok
The plastic is very thin and hard to handle outside in any wind. It helps that static makes it stick to a window while taping the sides. Compared to the name brand which I'm used to, unrolling it was very difficult due to how it's folded in the roll. The tape edge kept getting one roll's worth ahead of the rest so I kept cutting the strip crooked but not seeing it until pulling the sheet down. Never had this issue with the name brand as it was very easy to use. It's fine when you see how it's folded in the roll but I wasted two window widths cutting it wrong. The tape was good quality and stuck fine to glass and wood. The cardboard core is not standard size so you might have to improvise if using something to quickly unroll it. I used my paint mixer shaft.

Is protecting our cabinets what a great find!
Oh boy am I glad I came across this plastic on Amazon! We are remodeling our kitchens ourselves and geez I have to admit, I make a terrible mess when I paint and so does my husband. Our lower cabinets are in but my husband had to fix some damage on the walls and plaster a few holes in the ceilings and this plastic sheeting is saving the cabinets from getting ruined. We put down a brown paper on top of the base cabinets and then we attached this sheeting to the edge so the front of the cabinets are fully protected. It was simple and quick. The tape on the plastic sheeting adhered to the brown paper without any problems and unrolling the plastic and cutting it to size was a breeze. We unfolded the plastic downward and I am very happy our lower cabinets are now protected from the work that's being done around them. The plastic sheeting has been up for a week and hasn't detached where it's taped and it hasn't ripped either as we keep lifting it to insert drawers in the cabinets. Very economical and helpful item. We will be using this for the rest of our remodeling. This was a great find and well worth the purchase.

Best masking film!
I tried the competitor’s product. It was horrible. The tape ripped repeatedly during application and just turned my project into a nightmare of torn tape and mangled film. So, I looked for another solution. I used a sprayer to paint my walls so I had to mask everything in stages. A little research online and decided to try this. It is perfect. Used the short film for my baseboards, the medium length to mask the ceiling, and the long film for my doorways. I would recommend that you use the blue painting tape to define the edges then affix the Plazmask to the blue tape. The reason to use both the blue tape and plazmask together is to make application of the Plazmask easier. Since you dont have to be careful with the plazmask, you can unroll and simultaneously immediately affix the tape. The tape never tore, never tangled in the film and made my project so much easier. This eliminates all chance of mistakenly affixing the tape to the film. The static cling was especially helpful to mask the ceiling since i just affixed one edge to the ceiling then pulled the film out and it immediately clung to the ceiling. I did add a couple of pieces of blue tape to the outside edge for security and Im glad I did. When I sprayed near the ceiling, the weight of the paint did make the film a tad heavier. When I masked the baseboards, it was easy to define my edge with just the Plazmask (no blue tape). Try this and play with the technique a bit for the type of application you're using to see what works best for your project.

Needed to mask and stain a log cabin- FAST- before it go too cold out!
Had a beautiful 2 story Log home built a year ago and with the logs fully dried out and settled, it was time to stain the exterior. The cabin over looks a lake and has a LOT of big, beautiful windows...that needed to be masked off, so we could spray on the stain and then "brush it in" into every nook and cranny. That meant a strong potential for overspray, especially with some of the winds we experienced during the 4 day project. Plazmask to the rescue! We were able to mask all of the windows and doors QUICKLY. The bright yellow color allows you to easily see what you are covering...and what you aren't! I'd say that the "adhesive stickiness) is near perfect to allow the masking to stay in place and still be easily removed off of those 2nd story windows about 15 ft up! I will suggest buying a cheap and narrow plastic putty knife and use that to easily and consistentdly depress the masking tape on the edge- onto the surface of whatever it is you want to cover. Having two people to put this stuff up in windy conditions is SUPER helpful, as the wind can easily whip the sheeting around as you put it in place and then pull it out of the folds as it comes rolled up. We also found that by pre-positioning masking tape on the sides and the bottom of the windows and leaving it sticking out from the edge 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. Then we could then easily cut the plastic to size, hold the plastic in place and then simply "roll" the tape over the edge and on top of the plastic covering windows, doors, etc. to seal the edges. Using a 1 1/2 in. maskin tape works well for this. I would Def. suggest this to others and will use it again next summer when we put a finish on the inside of the cabin!

Just barely OK...
Probably wouldn't buy again. Tape doesn't stick very well and the first thing it wants to do as you pull it open is draw the film below up into the tape as it unwinds. That basically renders that piece useless. Stick with Scotch or frog tape You'll be miles ahead.....

STUCK ON YOU... NOT! STUCK WHERE NEEDED.
I've used old school method for 50 years. Mask around the object on a car, then cut your paper to fit, then tape that edge to the just applied masking tape. PAIN IN THE ARSE AND WASTEFUL. This product, you have better control because of good tape and the film works WITH YOU not AGAINST YOU. I used this only once before and now I only use this product. Also... the film works with all chemical compositions of paint. Enamel, lacquer, acrylic, epoxy paints and so on. I've used all and never did the paint affect the film. No melting or adverse affects. Dam great product. With this order and last, I used the 9 ft wide product. All folded up until you are ready. Folds out easy and just an extraordinary product. Cheers...
