I bought it as a gift for my husband and he loved it. It was sharp and the quality of the material was great. Great price and it is beautiful to look at.

Not the same design as advertised
The axe is good, but the design is not the same as advertised in the pictures. Instead of showing the actual runes around the valknut, it is scribbles. So beware of this flaw. Other than that, it is good.

Perfect Fit
Bought this axe to use as a “bench” tool. It feels good, very ergonomic and works perfectly. Great for splitting stripping bark, close work in all kinds of wood. Great bargain compared to similar sized axes. A have medium size hands and the handle fits me perfectly.

A good piece of replicated history. Made well
I sometimes get begging in reviews. I own this. Values was good, quality-hefty at 13 inch length. Mine is very sharp. I’ve been collecting knives for years. I keep mine as a remembrance of the time the Norse sailed, conquered. Handle? Ash, but solid. I do not use for wood or anything else. Please keep away from children, lock if you must. I have others to split wood ( a few are called grandchildren. I’ve been using a chain saw since 12, 6, 6 pound sledgehammers, wedges, etc. This is not for anything except perhaps a private backyard, with reports of animals. Thank you

Very nice
This Viking axe exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship is outstanding—the ashwood handle feels solid and comfortable in hand, and the carbon steel blade is incredibly sharp and durable. I especially like the black leather wrap, which adds both grip and a rugged, authentic look. It’s not just a great tool for wood splitting and camping, but also a beautiful piece with real character. Axe is very pretty but the holder is made incorrectly

Bad product
Very poorly put together after one use on a water logged log and the head is ready to come off also thr volknut and rune inscription is less then satisfactory the runes are completely un readable very disappointed
