Woodside Outdoor Wooden Plant Flower Vegetable Cold Frame Growhouse

Hey, I've had this cold frame for about three months now. I have to say, so far I'm really impressed. It was fairly easy to assemble (with two pairs of hands!) and, despite being lightweight, seems pretty sturdy. The panels fit together well, and so far have not warped, which has been the case with previous cold frames. We've had some torrential rain and strong stormy winds this week, but it has stood up well to the deluge, even with the top semi open. At night, I secure it with a couple of bungies attached to tent hooks pegged into the ground. Time will tell how long it lasts .... but so far I'd certainly recommend it to others, especially as it's such good value for money. If they get them back in stock, I may even be tempted to buy another! Update: I've just packed this away for winter, and it looks as good as the day I bought it. The only downside I've found - somehow bugs seem to get inside the corrugated perspex and you can't get them out!

Good value for money. Sadly the wood has split in a few places where the screws tightened the corners together during production and s9me of the screws weren’t tightened. Was very easy to put together. It obviously won’t last forever, but I still consider it good value for money when compared to similar alternatives. I would buy it again.

I was impressed with this product and also that the manufacturer had listened to previous reviewers comments and addressed the slotted bar issue were only at one side would twist the lid but they now have one to fit on each side of the lid included. Works perfectly. Although the made up frame is very light it is also very sturdy when made up. I have made a purpose built table to save me bending so much and have also fastened the frame down to this to avoid wind damage with the frame been so light. Would recommend this product to anyone thinking of a purchase. Good value for money and good build quality also easy to assemble.

Good solid cold frame and easy to assemble will be used for cuttings .

Reasonably well constructed and easy to assemble. The frame is (unsurprisingly) very light. I fitted a wooden base so that I could raise it above ground level - the extra weight will also help to keep it from blowing away!

Bought this for my husband, so he has scored the cold frame (apart from value for money). He says that it was easy to assemble, but not as sturdy as he would've liked. When I use it, I find it acceptable and functional, it houses my baby butternut squash plants very well, keeps the slugs out and is, I think, easy to open, close or leave open ( I think my husband is a little wrong about the sturdiness - I think it's fine).

I’m happy with this cold frame. Very easy to assemble. (I drilled half a dozen extra holes and put in some more screws). Some customers have mentioned that it’s very light which is true. I however like a little project so built a table to raise it off the ground and used some L brackets to secure the cold frame to it.
