Wow! I must say, this Z-bar has far surpassed my exoectations. I was breaking out with acne using the Nizoral shampoo- just the shampoo and not the version with added conditioner. The maker refused to say if it is non-comodogenic or not ( def not). My skin on my back and shoulder was a mess of breakouts. I was upset because it was starting to cause acne on my face. Then, it struck me to try the Z-Bar ( the VaniCream brand of dandruff shampoo is oddly unavailable) and after only 2 shampoos, I am satisfied. My scalp feels terrific, my hair is soft. My back-ne etc is starting to abate. VaniCream is well known not to cause breakouts. And omits many harmful chemicals. Run, do not walk. The bar is easy to lather and apply to scalp. Remember to leave it on for a few mins while you shave ( legs or beard). I am so relieved. But when will the shampoo pop onto Amazon?!

For anyone with rolls or larger breasts, this is great to keep on hand. Even with daily washing and scrubbing (please shower daily) you can still get yeast infections anywhere where skin overlaps. You will not be able to get rid of a yeast infection with normal soap. That's where the Z bar comes in. Its anti-fungal (yeast is a fungus) and using it daily can slowly clear mild yeast based skin infections. Note: this is not a replacement for medical advice, please check with a medical professional before using this to ensure what you have is actually a yeast infection. I apply a lather of the z bar soap to the affected area when it happens and let it sit on the skin while doing the rest of my routine. Please keep in mind that it will A) take a while to work because yeast infections are extremely stubborn and B) you MUST keep the area as clean and dry as possible throughout the day. As for the soap itself, it has no noticeable scent after rinsing/drying that I've noticed. This is also a MUCH more affordable treatment than the liquid serums or using anti-dandruff shampoo (which often uses the same active ingredient). It lasts a long time as long as you keep it out of water so it can dry when not in use. If you put it in a place in the shower where water continually runs on it, its going to dissolve much quicker (like literally any bar soap). All in all, and great thing to keep in your medicine cabinet or bathroom sink.

Honestly I tried this out of being desperate. My skin flares so easily and can be very painful. I do a lot of steps in my skin routine just to be comfortable to move my face to smile. But I'm always looking for the next thing that will help treat not just manage. When i first tired it, it felt different then I'm used to. I thought it may be drying my skin out too much. But it wasn't too pricey to try and I seen a lot of older methods treating it with a z bar (or similar just different brand) but it's not used a ton anymore. So I figured one or two more tries and if i5 stills feel wrong I would just toss it. Boy am I happy I waited. Just the same day but the end of the night for my next skin care routine. My face didn't feel that address anymore AND it didn't feel dirty and dry and most importantly not painful in any way. I continued to use it about a handful more times and I'm thrilled with the results. It truly makes my skin feel better and I find a lot less build up at the end of the day. It really manages that layer of my skin. I'm so disappointed cause I've tried such expensive methods. And this has been so helpful. I do still do my additional cares (toner, moisturizer, etc) after every wash which probably makes a difference too. But that's more I find has benefit my the most. But this soap is really going to help in thay deeper level. I can feel the difference. Will be buying more and more!

This was recommended to me by my dermatologist and I am glad. It works great. I like that it is scent free and it’s gentle on my face. A little lather goes a long way and makes my face not itch. I recommend not keeping it in your shower due to the fact that it will “melt.” Keep it in a travel soap case if you do. Worth it!

I’ve had a stubborn rashy/breakout patch on my forehead for years that may be related to an autoimmune condition. This bar seems to help somewhat but I can’t use it more than once or twice a week or else my face gets dry, irritated, and burny. Unfortunately no matter how I avoid my eye area it always makes my eyelids flakey. Not sure if I’ll repurchase but it was worth a try. I do like the Vanicream Gentle Cleanser for daily use and I also use the daily moisturizer, spf moisturizer, and vitamin c serum, which are all great.

This cleared up Tinea Versicolor, I had on my skin, in days. Works great for all sensitive skin. I love that it has no fragrance and it doesn’t dry other areas out. Will purchase again.

This soap has honestly been a game changer for my skin. I started using it after a dermatologist recommended it because I was getting rashes on my face, and almost immediately after switching, the rashes cleared up. I’ve always been someone who used traditional foam or gel cleansers, so I was unsure about moving to a bar soap, but this one completely changed my mind. It’s very gentle, doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or stripped, and my face feels calm and comfortable after washing instead of irritated. If you have sensitive or reactive skin, this is absolutely worth trying. It’s one of the few products I’ve used where I saw a noticeable improvement rather than just “maintenance.” Pros: • Helped clear facial rashes quickly • Very gentle and non-irritating • Doesn’t dry out my skin • Dermatologist recommended Cons: • Currently out of stock (hoping it comes back soon) Overall, I’ll definitely continue to use this and repurchase as soon as it’s available again. I’m really glad I gave this a try.

On recommendations I saw on reddit, i purchased this soap to help fight perioral dermatitis. I'm not sure what was originally making it flare up, but using this soap in combination with cutting out other things (Seabreeze astringent, aquaphor, and fluoridated toothpaste), it has gone away and hasn't flared up in weeks. I've continued to use the soap every other day or so, and its great for my skin.

Amazing product! Really feels like it does a whole lot of good cleaning and healing for my skin disorder, without hurting my skin. I leave it on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing off, just to make sure it’s doing the job. (Only downside is that it’s quite expensive)
