I feel silly about writing a plant light review, but it’s too good not to share. Got this light a few months ago and put a couple of my less than healthy Venus fly traps in there. I didn’t think they would make it. Not only did they make it but they are flourishing! They are massive with deep purple/ red color. Super healthy. If you are considering this for a carnivorous plant, I say do it. I’m very impressed with the simplicity and effectiveness of this product.

I bought this to make it a project with my kid and when it arrived she got pretty excited to know we will be able to grow different plants! It's a good quality frame, light and accessories. It brings small garden decorations and clay pellets. So easy to put together and undestard the instructions. We already had a small succulent we are potting under the light and will be caring for until is ready to remove an repot so we can grow another plant from the seeds up. It is very cute, worth the money and recommendable. I'm sure an elementary school class would benefit and learn a lot with something like this.

I've been interested in growing plants indoors but the cold weather and my lack of discipline of watering them has been detrimental for plants in my previous attempts. This terrarium kit solves my issues and it has it all. The setup instructions are detailed and easy to follow. What excites me most about this product is that it has a timer for the light that offers everyone from 24 hours on to cycling hours on and hours off AND the fact that it has a self watering feature. I just have to remember to refill the reservoir every once in a while. The kit comes with reusable clay filler, which works nicely; I'll have to try out the reusable feature once I'm finished with this first planting. I followed the instructions and now I have some small sprouts poking up. I can't claim complete success until I actually consume some of what I've grown, but so far, so good! The product is sturdy and I suspect it will last for a long time. We will see if this thing can finally turn my thumb green!!

Very happy with setup. Owned VFT in the past, I always killed them. The self watering method takes alot of the guess work out.

I have a ground spreading Venus Fly Trap and it is thriving in this setup. You can adjust the height of the container to get it closer or further from the light source. The automatic on/off feature is amazing. My VFT is my class pet and I am able to leave it at school over the weekend and be confident that it is getting the light it needs. The instructions that came with it were great for initial set up. I do not use the terrarium cover because the humidity is perfect for my VFT. Overall a great purchase. I would definitely buy again, if I get another VFT.
