This is the BEST tape I have ever found. It lives up to the waterproof hype and the value for the money is great. I like that it comes is a few colors. I use it to cover cracks in our siding and it really works. It is very well made and the stickiness is strong. I won't use other tapes anymore. The thickness is great and this is really a quality product.

I initially picked up this tape to protect an exposed exterior PVC pipe that gets battered by the Arizona sun. I needed something to prevent UV degradation to the plastic, and this tape delivered. I bought the T-Rex Waterproof Tape to patch up a small leak and was impressed by how well it sticks—even on damp surfaces. The adhesive feels thick and heavy-duty, and once it’s pressed down firmly, it forms a pretty solid seal. I even tried it underwater, and it held better than I expected. The tape is flexible and conforms nicely around curves and uneven surfaces. The edges stay low so it doesn’t peel up easily, and it’s clearly built tougher than ordinary duct tape. That said, it’s not a miracle product. On really hot days, I noticed it starting to lose grip, and it’s definitely more of a temporary fix than a long-term solution. It will buy you time and stop leaks quickly, but for permanent repairs you’ll still want to do something more lasting. Overall, this tape lives up to most of its claims. It’s a great “emergency repair” product to keep on hand, especially for outdoor projects, pools, or patch jobs where you need something fast and strong.

This is very sticky, and very difficult to use. That being said, it's been in my pool skimmer robot for 2 months, to repair the basket, and still holding. I'm impressed

This stuff is crazy sticky and very "rubbery", not like duct tape. It's like saran wrap, but very thick and pliable and kinda stretchy. Knock on wood, I don't have any holes in my liner, but if I did, I'd use this stuff. It seems very durable.

Being the cheapstake as I am, when my 150 foot garden hose split with a couple small cracks I researched alternatives to buying another hose. I have to admit, when I first put this tape on the splits I honestly didn't think it was going to hold. I had let the hose dry in the sun, but when I turned the water back on there was a leak coming from under the wrapped tape. BUT, after allowing it to sit in the hot sun all day, by that evening it was tight and not leaking. That was two weeks ago, and it's still holding strong! It was easy to wrap and stretched to get it tight.

IMPRESSED. Tonneau seam separated and water got under it. Tried a matching bigger name brand in black, that mess in three days pulled apart and left adhesive to be cleaned. This T-Rex is great. My only suggestion is not to stretch it too much or it pulls too much to stick. I've come back for more for other outdoor projects.

Absolutely brilliant product! Our above ground pool was leaking a substantial amount of water and after identifying several small holes we used this to seal them tight. Applied directly under the water onto the liner and no more leaks! Didn't think it would stick so well under the water but it's worked fantastically!

If the leak is on an inside corner joint, this is not the product you need. This may be effective on leaks that are on smooth straights, but not guttering corners as it’s not possible to apply without getting a crease: the crease is the weak point where water will find its way through. Best search for a roof and gutter sealant, one that is applied from a cartridge gun.

Excellent flexible and very sticky tape, very flexible thus not useful everywhere. Could not find any other such tape, very useful.
