I tore two tendons in my shoulder/rotator cuff and my Physical Therapist recommended doing heat at home - so I ended up getting this help with my recovery. It is very similar to the type of heat treatment that they do in the office at the end of sessions. I love that this is made specifically for a shoulder wrapping around it tightly. I was previously trying to use a heating pad and struggled to get it into position and keep it there without falling off. I like that this has a USB power plug in additional to a standard AC plug. This allows me to go "wireless" by hooking it to my portable battery power generator which fits in my back pocket and allows be to be mobile while doing the infrared/heat therapy on my shoulder.The heat is nice and has helped after some intense PT workouts and needling sessions. It keeps the muscles loose and helps ease muscle soreness. I love being able to do this at home away from the PT Office so that i can self treat and fight off issues before they become a bigger deal.Overall it provides a good fit on my shoulder, can go mobile when needed, and works well targeting my shoulder muscles with heat and infrared to help with muscle mobility and decrease muscle soreness. All which help speed along my overall recovery.

Great heat distribution. I absolutely love this for my rotator cuff injury or when I have a stiff neck. My shoulder is improving with consistent use!

I bought this pad hoping it would help my shoulder impingement issue heal faster but I’m not sure how much it’s helped on that front. It is helpful after a workout with easing post workout muscle soreness. The reason I deducted stars though is because roughly half of the leds have stopped working after only 3 months of use as you can see in my picture. I wasn’t rough with it or spilled anything on it, so I was both surprised and disappointed to learn how quickly half of the leds stopped working.Edit/Update: The company’s customer service reached out after my review and told me it was still under warranty and replaced it, so I added back a star.

Been using this for about a month. Does what it’s supposed to do. Shoulder pain has lessened. The heat level is good and it is great quality! I was able to put it on by myself and I even use it on my kids if they’re feeling under the weather. I just lay it flat on there chest for about 10 to15min. Red light therapy has lots of great benefits!

The item itself is a good product. I am NOT happy that the seller does not make it more clear that there is no battery or power bank included. The box arrived with a warning that it contained a lithium battery but it did not.Description: "Dual Power Mode: This Red Light Therapy Shoulder has 2 power modes, direct plug-in use and USB mode Dual Power Mode: This Red Light Therapy Shoulder has 2 power modes, direct plug-in use and USB mode connected to a mobile power source." " Should have said "...connected to a mobile power source (not included).

Only had this for two days and definitely do not regret this purchase. I had ordered this brace because I couldn’t find my regular one that is not red light therapy. Didn’t even realize this existed. This did 10x the job that a regular brace would do. After only one round for 10 minutes, I instantly felt the difference. And to think I almost returned it because I ended up finding my regular brace on the same day this arrived.Pros--long cord, disconnects easy without having to remove the brace-Adjustable duration and intensity of use.-Easy to put on.Cons--can’t walk around without the battery pack, which is not included-Red light can get really hot if you don’t adjust properly. Do not use while trying to sleep.(no I did not fall asleep, just more of a general observation)
