Q: Is it packaged in a way that will protect from the current heat wave?

It comes with a very good, solid cork in the bottle. It is then covered in a shrink-wrap material which is heat-contracted down. It also comes with a notched cork and pour spout which allows for slow pouring of the vinegar. The vinegar is nicely thick. I am not sure exactly what your concerns about the heat might be, but short of enough heart to boil the vinegar and pop the cork, I figure it would be safe from normal outdoor temperature. Hope that helps.

Presumably it’s not organic.. (I myself have never seen a product that WAS organic not be labeled as such given the marketing advantage associated with that.] Regardless, the product is excellent: I’ve now ordered it three times, and it’s the only balsamic vinegar in my pantry. Two bottles last me at least six months.
