LifeStraw Community — Autofill Water Filter Purifier, 50L, with Autofill Kit, Blue

This has been an awesome addition to our water supply at our camp. We have a lot on a small lake. Wells are not cheap. We purchased this and use it to purify the lake water to have drinking water. Would never know the water came from a lake. Only drawback is that when we emptied the water out at the end of the season, it didn't empty out of the filter. It froze and cracked over the winter (northern Maine). $80 learning curve for us. Would totally recommend.

We took this on our Florida trip and kept it in our toyhauler garage camper. Previous trip we did not have it and my husband drank the RV campsite water and ended up with parasites and was sick for a month. So we purchased this and used it daily. It holds several gallons of filtered water and we didn't get sick this time. I would highly recommend purchasing this system for trips or home use when the power grid has been shut down because of a disaster. Sometimes if you live in an area that have boil water orders, I'm sure this would work fine. We actually shared our water with another set of campers and we all have plenty of fresh clean water. Best purchase ever.

After a pipe burst in a water main in my community, I started thinking about what we’d do if something catastrophic happened. This product will help me keep my family safe, while also helping me serve my community. It’s a little bigger than I’d hoped, but it’s lightweight, and it seems easy enough to use. I won’t be actually using it until an emergency happens, so let’s hope it works.

Box a bit broken but filter is fine. We tested it and it works. Peace of mind.

So we purchased this for the case of if/when SHTF, this won’t be used unless/until that happens. Assembly was fairly easy, instructions were helpful. I’m sure the functionality will be good… it’s LifeStraw. 4 Stars for assembly, I can see how some may deem it a little difficult, but not bad.

Super. We used it to clean & purify water from a creek after a storm destroyed pipelines.

we bought this to keep on hand should the grid go down. we would be dependent on well water which would need to be filtered. I feel a lot safer knowing we have this available just in case

It processes a lot of water relatively quickly. It performs as advertised
