Purchased and used in Amazon Basics fountain pen. Am of the old school and like feel of old pens rather than ball point. These work great, easy to change and good dark ink.

Doesn't work with the Aihao fountain pen, however I have plenty of cartridges for other fountain pens.

The cartridges do fit in the Amazon Basics Fountain pen, and they seem to me to be the same size as the refills that came with that pen. If you only push them in a bit, the fit is loose, they're basically stuck on to the part that pierces the cartridge, and it doesn't inspire much confidence. This will cause poor performance. PUSH the refill FIRMLY onto the piercing portion inside the nib, further than you think it should go. You should hear/feel a FIRM click when the cartridge is pierced. If you do this, the cartridge will start writing in a minute or two, and the ink will flow correctly. Once started they write with a bold, thick line, despite my pen having a fine nib. These work well enough if you make sure to load them correctly.

After reading the reviews for the Amazon Basic pen I added these cartridges to my cart for when the cartridges that came with the pen ran out (and they ran out quickly). I can confirm they fit the pen perfectly and the ink quality is so much better than the Amazon ones, it’s dark, doesn’t bleed, and I don’t have to hold the pen tip down for five minutes for the ink to run. Only downside is that it does smudge a bit so I don’t recommend placing your hand on your page over the writing for support since the ink dries a bit slow and it will stain your skin (the stain will go away with a couple of hand washes). Overall a great choice and I will be rebuying once I run out.

Don't listen to those saying these don't fit the Amazon basics pen! I almost didn't make this purchase due to the misinformation in the reviews. The ink cartridge fits flawlessly!! Not to mention the ink seems to be suburb quality, even better than what came with the Amazon basics pen.

So, I have a fountain pen that I found on a park bench. It had ink in it when I found it, but since I didn't buy it myself I don't know the brand to buy specific refils. So, I saw these and went, "yay, universal!" They're not universal. I broke two of the cartridges just because I didn't realize they had actually gone into the pen. Then I finally got one in and working, it worked for all of two days before I noticed a black line forming on my finger. I inspeced the pen and the reason ink was flowing at all was because the end of the pen was flooding from the leaky cartridge. It took so long to clean, and now I have a bunch of useless cartridges. Do not buy this unless you're absolutely sure it will fit in your pen.

I bought this to use with the Amazon brand fountain pen available on this site, and so far they've worked quite well. I wouldn't say the ink is of overwhelmingly great quality, but that's not something that's hugely important to me. These cartridges are easy to install, work well, and thus present a good value for the money. That's all I ask, but if you want more from your ink than that, you may find yourself disappointed. Although, if you want more for your ink than that I highly doubt you're buying generic cartridges by the dozen for your cheap fountain pen.

I have multiple pens for this ink, they all work well and better than expected with this ink. I have some lower quality ink, just dirt cheap, and now I know just how crappy it is! The difference is night and day, this ink works awesome, put the pen down for an hour or two, I can pick it up and start writing with little or no ink loss or tracing back over letters because of poor flow. Great product, just bought a second package just in case I run out! I love it, buy it!!!!!

Though these cartridges were great at first cause they fit perfectly, but then ink started flooding out of the pen and the pen began to drip ink everywhere. Ink on my expensive Christmas cards, my carpet and my clothes, not to mention my hands as well. I'm very dissatisfied and I am requesting a refund.
