Why can't I press the shutter after mounting this lens?

This is a manual lens with no electronic contacts. Your camera doesn't know a lens is attached. To fix it, simply go to the camera menu and turn ON the "Release shutter without lens" (or "Shoot without lens") option. Then it works normally.
