It chugs!
Nice little practice amp. I end up playing at odd places with it. Battery lasts longer than advertised at low volume. I didn’t expect much, but this little amp surprised me. Sounds is full and gets loud enough for practicing. Bluetooth works great and can’t complain about the price. I think this makes a good alternative to other portable amps. Just get a decent modeler with it.

Excellent!
I absolutely love this amp. Anyone who does not give this amp a 5 star review does not understand what it is. Let me clear up a few common misconceptions that people may have. 1. 30 Watts does not mean more volume. For example: a Vox AC30, 30 watt amp, will blow the doors off most concert halls with no problem. This should never be compared to a 30 watt solid state amp. This little amp is MORE than enough for bedroom use, or even a small coffeehouse kind of gig. It's actually too loud for me to turn up all the way in my home. 2. This is an FRFR amp; which means flat rate flat response. That means there is no added 'fluff' to the sound. It would put out the signal exactly as it is imputed. Most bluetooth speakers (bose, sony, beats) add a lot of bass and treble additives to the sound to make it sound fuller and richer. This should NOT be compared to those. A FRFR speaker is meant to output the sound AS IS. No additives. If you want additives, you'll have to add them some other way. What I love: 1. Wireless battery lasts forever. Love it. 2. Speaker is VERY well built. Professional grade quality. Better than I expected for the price range. 3. Bluetooth speaker sounds great (not better than my Bose). Just turn up the base and tone knobs. 4. Super compact size. I will definitely be bringing this everywhere I go.

Great FRFR Amp for guitar/bass multieffects pedals and modelers.
It is small and lightweith. (almost 4Kg). It surprised me how loud it was for a home enviroment. I played it with a Valeton GP200 multi effect along with a guitar and bass and the sound was great! bluetooth connectivity was very easy with laptop and phone to play with baacking tracks. the Battery lasts a lot (in the manual indicates up to 13 hours but havent used it as much yet)

Excellent FRFR for Fractal, but...
My search for a great tone has been a long one. I've worked with several powered speakers and monitors before discovering the HR 108. I must say that my first impression of this speaker was not 4 stars, more like 3 at best. It wasn't until I found a downloadable PEQ Block (search Fractal Forum for: Flattening the headrush curve WKSmith) that moved my rating up to 4 stars. These speakers are amazingly loud and definitely sound best on tripod stands... mine are low at 24 inches (from the bottom of the speaker to floor) which helps give me that amp-in-room sound. The features are very useful and the handle is very comfortable. I also really appreciate the weight, at 21 pounds it's so easy get them in and out of the car and to navigate stairs. I've had no problems with noise (hiss or otherwise), even when I use them in my small music room at home. Like all PA type speakers that are biamped there can be hiss... my pair placed about 8 feet apart and me 3 feet back and between them and pointed at me and volume pedal heel-down the hiss is so little that I can't hear it and I keep the back-panel volume knobs at 8. As for playing power with the pair indoors I'm good to about 100 people without going into a PA. There is a negative that kept me from giving a 5 star rating, I found the tweeters to sound okay, but they have a shrill, piercing midrange quality that's quite harsh and is easily noticeable on crunch and distortion tones. It can be dialed out some, but the sizzle of overdriven tones lives in that space making it a tradeoff proposition. This harshness is common to titanium (diaphragm) tweeters (or high frequency compression drivers). It seems titanium drivers are everywhere when it comes to PA and FRFR speakers. Polyimide seems to be the choice amongst those players that make their own speakers up from scratch. I made my way to my own personal 5 star rating by changing over to polyimide tweeters which are known to have a more natural sound for higher frequencies. It's worth mentioning that the included tweeters are rebuildable and HR does stock replacement diaphragms (it's the same one found in Alto TS408 and 410), maybe someday they'll make a polyimide replacement diaphragm. I've got my amazing tone now, even at low volumes and my (Howard) Dumble presets sound breathtaking!

Great for jam sessions and a little body building
Great sound quality! Takes 2 XLR combo instrument inputs and Bluetooth at the same time, each with their own volume control. Is a bit heavy for taking to a jam session but I manage. If you’re going to move this around often, maybe consider the next size down if the weight difference is worth it since I don’t know the weight difference.

Buy it.
If you use an amp modeler peddle, this little amp is a must. It isn’t crazy loud, but does its job.. everybody complains it’s not loud enough.. It’s a small practice amp.. The sound is true… and it’s plenty to practice with. I’ve tried several one. This is by far the best on the market.

Awesome flat amplification!
This thing is a beast. I have used it for two live shows, one indoor pushing guitar, and one outdoor pushing bass. Both times the instrument has been ran through the same guitar modeler. Indoor our guitar kept up masterfully with the bass being ran through the FOH PA System. Outdoors my bass was able to keep up, even slightly edge out, the Marshall 4x12 cab my guitarist was using. The real kicker is it's size. At the size of a standard 12" PA this thing is incredibly portable. The weight makes it a dream to bring to weekend gigs. My Orange 4x12 and Head combined way upwards of 100lbs, our Orange 1x15 Bass Amp weighs 55lbs. This thing drops 20lbs off our bass rig, or a whopping 65lbs off of our guitar rig. I will definitely be getting a second one. Dual inputs with separate gain is going to be a blessing. I intend to run modelers through with one of these units on stage left pushing lead guitar, one on stage right pushing rhythm, and bass being fed into the second input of both of them to ensure that my audience feels the boom. I cannot wait to purchase again. Great tone replication with a budget pricetag.

Great speaker system!
This Headrush FRFR-GO is an amazing piece of equipment. The sound is so much bigger than the speaker itself that it is truly amazing. As a 50 plus year guitarist I can say that the sound is smooth and flat and the volume of this unit will get louder than I am comfortable playing with. It works really well with my drum machine connected while I play and practice and I can connect my iPad to it via blue tooth and jam with backing tracks. I am very satisfied with this product. It’s a great companion for my Boss GX-100 modeler. Highly recommended.

Awful
Don’t know if I had a faulty unit but the sound quality using my UAFX Ruby into it was terrible. The speaker fuzzes even at low volumes, there’s way too much low end in it. I found it completely unusable. Returned for refund, still waiting for it over 2 weeks later. Terrible customer service from Amazon on this.

So good, let me count the ways...
Perfect for the living room, bedroom etc. I have 2 multi effects platforms: a Boss ME-90 and the Fender Tone Master Pro. I was considering getting the matching powered speaker for the Tone Master, but I really didn't need something that big or that loud for living room use. I saw lots of good reviews of this unit and I had it in my wish list and in my cart a few times before I finally pulled the trigger. I wish I wouldn't have waited! Pros (in no particular order): Small and light. It fits pretty much anywhere. Decently loud. Plenty enough under the hood for the average bedroom or living room rock star. Exceptional sound quality. Better than I expected. Clear. Only gets muddy if you push it too hard from your pedal. It's a great bluetooth speaker. Just as a speaker for Spotify it's great, but as a guitar learning tool it's even better. I use the Songsterr app and it just works so well. Also the initial pairing to my Samsung phone and tablet was super easy. Reconnecting is seamless. Being rechargeable is a feature I didn't think I would ever need, want or appreciate. Literally the first time I'm using it through my ME-90 (on battery power) when the power went out. I just kept on playing. Also, being able to put it anywhere in the house without worrying about having access to an outlet is nice. It looks cool. At least I think so. Cons: It's not as loud as a tube amp... but who cares, that's not what it's designed to be.

Bajo peso, gran potencia! 🤘
