I Feel Sexy and Feminine Again!
I didn't even know what "chub rub" was until I joined a Plus Sized group when I was planning our honeymoon to Disney. But, I knew it not only made me miserable, but really embarrassed me. When my husband and I were first dating, I had to resort to wearing bike short style panties anytime I wore a skirt. Of course, I had to worry about those bike shorts showing under the skirt as lumps, below the hem of the skirt, or that they might ride up and defeat the purpose. They also made an extra layer of heat in the summertime. The alternative was just to make sure I didn't walk too much. Even worse, what if he put his hand on my thigh and felt that awkward lump under the skirt? I couldn't help but think of them as my "fat girl panties" or "fat girl scuba gear." I certainly did not feel like a beautiful woman or sexy or attractive. I felt embarrassed. I know that skinny girls wear them too for shaping, but I still felt awkward and unattractive. After I got married, I still had a preoccupation with it. My husband loved my body, but that thigh-chafing problem really embarrassed me, so I would dress out of eye-shot when I wore a skirt and I never wore shorts. Bandalettes have been a complete blessing. They look like lingerie and don't make you feel like you're wearing granny panties under your clothes. They look like something you wore deliberately to feel pretty and feminine. They don't look like something you're wearing "to keep your thighs from rubbing." They look just like an attractive addition to your garment - like an accessory. When I first pulled them out I worried about the fit. If you measure like they ask you to, you really have nothing to worry about. These are NOT tight, nor do they feel snug. They fit comfortably and stay up nicely. I tend to buy loose clothing (especially pants) and I have no complaints on how these fit. You can feel that they work as soon as you try them on. Where skin used to grip, it now just glides easily past. The lace is not scratchy and holds it's pattern well when put on. They are made in China, designed in the US. They are hand wash, but really that's pretty easy. The packaging is attractive and subtle, I'm including a picture. For sizing, definitely measure your thigh. Mine was smaller than the pant size recommendation and it fits perfectly! I can't say enough about this wonderful design and I'm going to order more colors today if they are available in my size. Thank you Bandalettes! I finally feel feminine and attractive again! Now I can wear more of the clothes I love.

THESE WORK!
Definitely 5 stars. I love wearing breezyyyyyy hobo dresses in the hot days of summer and SO I do NOT want sweat prone, unbreathable spanx on underneath which not only roll, torture one's waistline, and embeed all airflow (I find spanx to be a modern day equivalent to the victorian corset, "no mas"). Usually all is fine w/my inner thighs, but if walking distances chaffing can start which then becomes a real issue. These are a perfect solution. They WORK!!! Inside they have clear rubber "grip bands", just like thigh high hosery, and so that keeps these perfectlyyyyyy in place. NO slippage at all. The lace is soft... and these allow a comfy breeze thru-in-thru. Some reviewers have mentioned these rolling. A TIP: on your back side, so back of thigh, these can roll IF you don't lower these on the back of thigh. It's not the product rolling (failing) it's b-cheeks pushing them down as you walk;0) As others have suggested, I just placed these higher in the front of thigh and then slanted them as they travel to the back of thigh (still fully protecting my inner thigh touching area). So when I walk my b-cheeks are not working them down. Then I can walked for hours in city scapes, have ZERO ROLLING, sliding, slippage... even when sitting down, leaning over (etc). If in doubt which size to get I'd recommend moving a size up. These have a nice, soft stretch... and their rubber strips hold which then negates the need for the lace band itself to have a "tight grip" to stay on. So, going up a size should still hold and also will avoid any sort of "muffin" result. Bodies also tend to expand a bit when in super HOT, humid days...

Convenient solution for anti-chafing under dresses/skirts, but quality is questionable. Recommend smooth over lacy bands.
I bought both the unisex, smooth thigh bands as well as the lacy women's ones, with the intention of wearing them under dresses and skirts to reduce chafing. I definitely prefer the smooth thigh bands after several days of wearing both. The smooth thigh bands are slightly wider than the lacy ones and seem to stay in place a bit better, while the lacy ones also tend to start wearing themselves down against each other because of their texture. I also had an unfortunate incident while wearing the lacy ones, wherein I was hurrying to catch the train and the upper edge of the band folded down - I ended up getting severe raised chafe marks where the edges of the band had rubbed against my legs as I walked that took several days to heal. PROS: - Definitely reduce chafing, when they're not causing it themselves. - The smooth bands are barely notable when worn in the correct place and are super comfortable, as a result. - Not having to wear a pair of shorts with an additional waistband under my dress/skirt is AMAZING. CONS: - Figuring out where and how to place the thigh bands is more difficult than you'd think, as the swell of your butt causes the back upper edge of the band to fold over frequently, and your thighs are usually wider at top than at bottom, whereas the bands are symmetrical and the same width from top to bottom. - Though the fit is perfect to start, the elastic does start to stretch out slightly after some constant wearing. My smooth thigh bands have now started to slip down on one leg regularly. On the plus side I can wear a single smooth thigh band with nearly the same anti-chafing and comfort advantages, so I often do that. - The silicone bands on my smooth bands have started to detach from the fabric, thanks probably both to daily wearing, the motion of walking, and humidity/heat from my body. I'm hoping the bands remain wearable even if some of the silicone is lost... I do recommend the smooth bands as a nice, comfortable under skirt/dress option, but don't have a great deal of faith that they will last for very long. I might try buying down a size and seeing if they'll fit better as they stretch out.

New Best Friends!!!
Just unboxed these. I got the ones with wide scalloping at the edges because I feared the ones with the narrower scalloping would roll down. I am going to order some that have the straight edge to compare, because these do roll a tiny bit. They do give me a tiny muffin top at the top edge, but I don't know if it will show through my clothes. I asked my man what he thought about the muffin top, and he doesn't see it! I measured myself and ordered according to their chart. I'm so glad they fit us larger women, too! I really hope this company will start making stockings (stay-ups or regular) because this company understands how to make things that fit and stay up on big girl thighs. I wore them for a little while around the house and for a short errand out, not the whole day, and not a ton of walking. However, I feel that they are my new best friends! I feel that I have been released into wearing dresses again since I no longer have to wear the Spanx-like shorts to prevent chafing. I have some of those that I used to wear under dresses specifically due to thigh chafing. Those shorts work great, but they are not pretty and they add an extra layer of clothing while it's already hot out. So, I hope these stand up to the test of walking around because they are much prettier and cooler! I want to point out that in my video, I show that although the bands were not sent with cardboard between the adhesive all the way, the adhesive did not get damaged at all from that packaging method. I mention this because other reviewers have said that was an issue. Also, in my pictures, please see the back label. It states that we are to avoid using lotion before wearing these, as doing so can damage the adhesive. I purchased the white pair in peony because the pair I’m wearing are working out so well. Very expensive, but worth it!!

Do reccomended.
They absolutely do stay up and protect your thighs from rubbing. I really like them. However, the tops are beginning to curl downward after a few months of use. This is likely not a product that will last you for continuous and prolonged wear, thought they should be good for some months, just not years. Wish they were more robust.

Work pretty good, but falls apart right away
***********UPDATE: I am changing my review, because these completely fell to pieces after exactly three uses. The sticky inner elastic peeled right off the fabric, just from me wearing them. I really wanted these to work, but it seems they aren't built to last. ****************** I work in a hospital and have to wear scrubs for my job. My scrubs are very comfortable, but because of the way they're shaped, the crotch tends to hang down too far and the very top of my thighs tend to rub together. I have folliculitis so all the rubbing is causing me to get cysts all over my upper inner thigh. I've been looking for a solution for a while, first I tried bike shorts, then men's boxer briefs. I ran into the same problem, it was really uncomfortable to have so many layers on, and it got way too hot. Finally I found out about these bands and thought why not. I was very very very skeptical. I've tried thigh high stockings/socks before and they NEVER stay up. I really didn't see why this would be any different. So, these do actually work really well, and I've now used them for two 12 hour shifts without fail. The ONLY reason I got these to work, though, is because of a tip I saw on here which I greatly appreciated. Placement is everything. They only work if the inside of the band is up higher than the outside. The inside of the band needs to be up literally as high as it can go, like almost touching your underwear, or they will roll down. But if you have them just in the right spot, they are not going anywhere. I ran around this hospital, up and down hallways, squatting, bending, assisting patients, and they did not move. My other tip is that if you go to the bathroom, make sure you check your positioning after you pull your underwear back up, because that is the one thing that will mess with them. They work perfectly for my purposes, but I only gave them four stars because I'm really unsure as to how they would work if I were to wear them with a skirt. It seems like they aren't long enough, they don't go far enough down my inner thigh to completely eliminate all the areas my thighs rub together. The other thing is they aren't breathable AT ALL. I could feel myself sweating under the bands like crazy. Still, much less hot than wearing three layers.

Wearing them right now!
I have never been a big dress or skirt wearer simply because of thigh chafing, it's so annoying and painful! So when I started looking for these thigh bands, there were so many options, and I am VERY glad I chose these. I don't have any other brands to compare to, so this is just my opinion on these bands alone. My thoughts after I have worn them probably a dozen times now and washed them about 4 times: >I wash them in a "delicates bag", the ones you usually use for bra's or delicate to wash items. I do feel like this helps keep them as close to the new feel as possible so they don't stretch out or lose the "sticky" stuff. > They stay put all day long: I move around a lot at my job- sitting, standing, walking inside and outside in the weather- and they stay put! I have not had to adjust them at all throughout the day (until I go to the bathroom, more on that next). > I read other reviews on the best placement for them, as long as you get the recommended size for your measurements and you place them where you are supposed to, you will have no issues. I place them high on the inner thigh, pretty much next to my underwear line underneath, and place them slightly higher on the outside thigh. The only time I have to adjust them is when I go to the bathroom, because you have to pull them down a little out of the way, then put them back when you are done. > The lace is no problem! I was worried that the lace would itch or be uncomfortable (because lace down there is usually not the best on hot days....), but I took a chance because I wanted it to be something that made me feel feminine and if it showed accidentally, it would look like a slip or something decorative. And my husband loves that they are lace too, because he is a red blooded male, haha! I am wearing skirts and dresses more and more because I am pregnant and pants don't fit, so I am extremely happy to have found these bands. No itching, not uncomfortable, and they do the job perfectly for what I need.

GET THEM ASAP
I was skeptical at first, especially since my thighs rub so tight my protectant shorts rise up and I still chafe. BUT THEY WERE AMAZING. I used them everyday to my grip to Oregon. Under skirts and dresses, it was so humid, they did not slip, did not bother me, I forgot I had them on. They were not tight, I got a Large I’m a size 12 in jeans. They did not loose elasticity. I was afraid of that. I walked for 12+ hours, the cloth did not budge or hurt my skin. As someone who looked for YEARS on remedies or clothing to help with chafing, do it. Just do it.

Amazing!!!
What a god send!! 6 months pregnant during a UK heatwave my upper thighs have been really sore. Up until now I’ve been wearing shorts under my skirts and dresses but depending on the colour you can see I’m wearing them whereas these are completely hidden! I’m a size 10/12, naturally I’ve gained weight since being pregnant but even the slimmest people’s legs can chafe. Really soft material, true to size and don’t slip down. So so pleased with this product worth every penny!

AMAZING
Ladies and gents. I have had chub rub for years now, I’ve used shorts, cut off leggings, some “comfort shorts” from Evans and nothing, NOTHING as worked as well as these. I orongally ordered a size too big after taking the advice and going up as I was in between, so I was a little disspoainted they didn’t work as well. But I took another chance, ordered a smaller size and by goodness I’m glad I did!!!! THEY ARE AMAZING. gone are painful thighs, hot sweatiness after wearing shorts, and HELLO to feeing fabulous!!!! Make sure you measure properly and you won’t regret it!!!!!!!
