Do you have to assemble

Yes, we did have to assemble the glider but it was very easy and the directions were easy to follow! It took my husband about 25 minutes to get it assembled and for me enjoying it!!

How much assembly is required?

Minimal assembly required. My 18 year old son put it together in less than 30 minutes. Maybe 10 screws. The major components of the rocker are pre-assembled.

I have used this glider for more than an year now. It has started to creak a lot. Is anyone seeing the same issue and is there something I can do?

For ours the creaking was the rollers which had broken and the bearings we're just grinding. My solution was to dismantle the ottoman which we barely used and we just stole the rollers out of it. Didn't take long to start creaking again, though.
