I got this pottery wheel for my daughter, and she’s absolutely loved it. It’s easy enough for kids to use on their own, but still feels like a “real” pottery wheel, which makes the whole experience exciting for them. The speed is gentle and the kit came with everything she needed to get started.The clay included was decent quality, and we were able to make a few small bowls and cups on the first try. It does get a little messy (which is expected!), but that’s half the fun. I've done ceramics and pottery for most of my adult life, and I thought this wuld be a really fun and cute introduction to clay for my daughter and my niece. It's absolutely adorable and has a lot of nice touches and additions that I think will make learning and using easier for kids. However, if you know anything about clay, it is very messy and it gets into everything, everywhere. I'm not sure about the longevity of this product holding up over time, but when you consider the price and everything you get with it, I do think it's worth it. Just don't expect it to last for years. It's meant for kids, not professionals. I really like the built-in spot for kids to put their paint tubs, and the tower guide to help them sculpt their clay as the wheel turns. Overall, it's really cute and fun.

It doesn’t really work as far as the spinning piece. The paint was all there though. My brother had to form the clay into a shape beforehand and my niece was kind of playing with it then. It is cute and looked functional but it’s not replicating a real pottery wheel. It’s possibly just for fun and to keep kids busy. This was a gift so I had no idea how it worked but it was pretty exciting for my niece and I think it will be worth getting to try it out.

First and foremost the quality of the product is very good. It comes with two cubes of clay, ready to order more as kids dont stop there. It also comes with small bright paints. My kids enjoy playing with automatic turn table pottery set. Good gift for any occasion

A little flimsy, but my granddaughter enjoys it. I think she made one item and then put it away. I’m glad it wasn’t more expensive.

Looked like a cute product but the clay arrived rock solid and no amount of water would make it malleable. It finally just washed out and left us with nothing to mold. Very unhappy.
