Excellent quality gas spring monitor mount with built in multiport hub
I got this SABRENT gas spring monitor mount with built in multiport hub for my small computer desk. Because of the type of work I do, I sometimes like to pull my monitor up close, I was unable to this this with my monitor stand. Also, the standard OEM monitor stand had a large base taking a lot of space on my small desk. This SABRENT monitor mount has solved my issues, it takes up very little space, and it allows plenty of movement of my monitor. Furthermore, the base has a built-in multiport hub which allows to remove my old multiport hub saving more space. This gas spring monitor mount was very easy to assemble with the instructions, and although the bracket under my desk is clamped to one of the metal cross members, it has clamped very firmly. After bolting the monitor in place, I adjusted the spring tension of the top arm with supplied Allen key, this allows me to pull my monitor to almost any position and it will stay put. On the underside of the arms is flexible plastic clamping to tuck the monitor cables out of the way. The built-in multiport hub at the base of the stand has USB A and USB C ports with up to 10Gbps. The Thunderbolt 4 upstream port can deliver up to 60W, this makes it ideal for use with laptops and tablets. As Iโm using this setup with my recently home built PC, I havenโt made use of the HDMI 2.1 & DisplayPort 1.4 which should come in useful for extra monitors. There is also a 3.5mm stereo phono socket and a 1 GbE Ethernet port. Finally, the hub has a SD and microSD card reader port. To power the hub the kit comes with a 130W mains power adaptor, providing a decent amount of power across the ports. The construction of the gas spring monitor mount, stand and hub is of great quality. The whole kit is quite a heavy item, and it feels like an item thatโs going to last. Overall, if youโre after plenty of monitor adjustment this SABRENT gas spring monitor mount does a great job, and the hub provides plenty connectivity. At ยฃ118.74 at the time of review, I personally think it offers great value. I hope you find my review useful and helpful

Brilliant Desktop Space-Saver with Ultra-Fast Hub Integration!
The SABRENT Monitor Stand Riser with Built-in Thunderbolt 4 Hub is an incredibly innovative workstation upgrade that masterfully merges a premium gas-lift VESA mount with a high-performance docking station, completely removing unsightly cable clutter from your desk space. Reclaiming massive amounts of room on small desks, the heavy-duty metal arm holds monitors up to 32 inches (10kg) flawlessly, offering smooth 360ยฐ swivel, tilt, and vertical tracking adjustments that stay put exactly where you pull them. The true highlight is the feature-packed base hub, which utilizes a single upstream Thunderbolt 4 link to instantly route a Gigabit Ethernet feed, dual UHS-II memory card readers, 10Gbps USB-A and USB-C slots, and dual-display 4K outputs right through one clean laptop connection. Equipped with a robust 130W external power brick, it delivers reliable device passthrough and handles intensive data transfers instantly. However, the unit drops one star because its integrated Power Delivery is strictly capped at 60W, which causes the battery on intensive or dedicated-GPU performance laptops to slowly drain during heavy rendering or gaming sessions. Additionally, the 70cm included link cable is a bit short for sweeping arm movements, and positioning all peripheral ports on the front and sides slightly compromises minimalist rear aesthetics. If your machine is happy with 60W charging, this premium all-in-one setup provides spectacular organizational value for content creators and remote professionals alike.

Good arm and hub
This monitor arm with a built-in multi-port hub is actually incredible. Firstly the monitor arm has freed up quite a significant amount of space on my desk as there's no monitor stand taking up a lot of unnecessary room. On top of that, the hub itself being built into the arm has also freed up even more space on my desk. One small downside is that the stuff is all on the front of the hub - ideally it would either be located at the back, or at least be reversible so you can route wires better. However, that's a really small downside and the space saving from both additions has been great. The hub itself works well, I have my mouse, keyboard, headphones, ethernet, controller and both 2k monitors all routed through it and after multiple weeks of use, I haven't experienced any issues - no input delay, no random disconnections. Both of my monitors also have maintained 144hz at 2k display too, which is great.

SABRENT Monitor Stand Riser with Thunderbolt 4 Docking Hub and Gas-Lift Arm
A premium monitor stand riser designed for up to 32-inch VESA-compatible displays, combining ergonomic positioning with a built-in Thunderbolt 4 multiport docking hub for an all-in-one workstation upgrade, featuring a gas-lift arm for smooth height and angle adjustment to improve posture and viewing comfort, while the integrated hub provides expanded connectivity including USB ports, HDMI, DisplayPort and memory card reader access, making it a powerful desk solution for users who want to reduce cable clutter and centralise their peripherals, and the raised stand design also helps free up valuable desk space underneath for a cleaner, more organised setup, though as with most integrated docking monitor arms performance can depend on system compatibility, bandwidth allocation and connected device load, and full feature utilisation may require Thunderbolt-enabled hardware, but overall it serves as a high-end productivity accessory that combines ergonomic monitor positioning with extensive connectivity in a single streamlined workstation solution.

Great combo dock and monitor arm
This monitor arm and Thunderbolt dock combo has honestly been one of the best upgrades weโve made to the desk setup. We use it with a MacBook and it completely cleaned everything up compared to having a seperate monitor arm and then some massive clunky dock sat on the desk with cables going everywhere. The whole thing feels really premium straight away. The arm itself is solid metal and feels properly sturdy once attached to the desk, and the gas lift adjustment is really smooth when moving the monitor around. It doesnt feel cheap or wobbly at all like some monitor arms do. The docking station being built into the arm itself is such a clever idea and makes the setup look way cleaner overall. One of the best things about it is just how convienient it is day to day. We basically have one Thunderbolt cable going into the MacBook and then everything else is handled through the dock. Monitor, charging, USB devices, ethernet, SD cards, all through one cable. It makes docking and undocking the laptop ridiculously easy. Transfer speeds are also insanely fast. We tested external SSDs and SD card transfers through it and everything felt basically instant compared to older USB hubs weve used before. You can tell its actually taking advantage of proper Thunderbolt 4 speeds rather than just pretending to be a high speed dock. The extra ports are also genuinely useful rather than just filler. The SD card reader is really handy for cameras and drones, and having both USB-A and USB-C ports built in means you dont end up needing loads of adaptors all over the desk. The ethernet connection has also been really stable. Another thing we liked is that because the dock is built into the monitor arm itself, the desk just feels way less cluttered. Before this we had a monitor arm, seperate dock, power cables and adaptors all taking up space, whereas now it all feels much cleaner and more minimal. Overall this is a really clever bit of kit and feels very high quality throughout. Its made the MacBook setup much tidier, transfer speeds are super fast and the whole thing just makes the desk feel cleaner and more modern. Defintiely reccomend it if you want a more streamlined setup. Its a really super versatile and its compact size means more room for activities on your desk :)

A Premium Workspace Upgrade That Comes at a Premium Price
It is clearly designed for professionals who want a cleaner, smarter, and more efficient desk setup. Right out of the box, the build quality feels premium. The gas-lift arm moves smoothly and supports monitors up to 32 inches without wobbling, while the VESA mount makes installation straightforward. The integrated hub is the standout feature here โ combining USB ports, HDMI, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, and a memory card reader into the base eliminates the clutter of extra docking stations and dangling cables. For creators, remote workers, and power users, this all-in-one design can dramatically improve desk organisation. In everyday use, the arm performs exceptionally well. Adjusting monitor height, tilt, and viewing angle feels effortless, making it easy to switch between productivity and ergonomic comfort throughout the day. The Thunderbolt 4 support delivers fast data transfer and reliable display connectivity, especially useful for laptops with limited ports. The additional USB ports and card reader are conveniently positioned and genuinely useful for photographers, video editors, and multitaskers. The overall setup gives a modern workstation vibe that looks clean and professional, especially in minimalist office environments. However, the biggest downside is the price. While the product offers premium materials and advanced functionality, it feels significantly more expensive than standard monitor arms or separate docking solutions. Users on a budget may struggle to justify the cost, especially when decent monitor arms and hubs can be purchased individually for much less. The convenience factor is excellent, but the pricing pushes this product into a niche category aimed mainly at enthusiasts and professionals willing to pay extra for aesthetics, cable management, and integration. If money is not a concern, this is a fantastic workspace upgrade โ but for many buyers, it may simply be too pricey for what it delivers.

SABRENT Monitor Stand Riser with Thunderbolt 4 Multiport Hub Built In
First Impressions Looks like a smart desk upgrade rather than just a basic stand. Build feels more premium than a simple riser. Usage Useful for raising a monitor to a better height while adding extra connectivity underneath or beside the screen. Helps tidy up desk space and reduce clutter. Pros Combines a stand and hub in one unit, which is genuinely useful. Good for cleaner desk setups. Extra ports make it practical for workstations and laptop setups. My Cons More of a specialist product, so it makes the most sense if you actually need the added connectivity. Price is likely higher than a normal monitor riser because of the hub features. Conclusion Strong option for a work desk or setup where you want both monitor height and port expansion. A more serious desk accessory than a standard stand.

Effective and Reliable.
This is one of those useful devices that actually replaces multiple devices instead of just adding clutter. The amount of functionality built into this single unit is impressive. The connection is extremely fast and stable, and it easily handles a dual-monitor setup, without any noticeable lag or flickering. Everything feels instant, whether youโre transferring files or running external displays. The built-in gas-lift monitor arm is smooth to adjust and holds a 32-inch monitor securely without sagging. Once positioned, it stays firmly in place, and the range of movement makes it easy to find a comfortable setup. Having USB-A and USB-C ports, SD/microSD card readers, Ethernet, and audio all integrated means I no longer need a separate hub or adapters scattered across the desk. The laptop charging through Thunderbolt 4 is also very convenient and keeps everything powered while working. The build quality feels premium and sturdy, especially the arm mechanism and base. Every looks and feels great, really. Everything works as expected. Itโs an all in one device that significantly improves desk organisation, productivity, and cable management. Iโd be happy to recommend it.

Well-respecteed Sabrent dives into the display peripherals market in a big way. Pricey.
Until now, the choices for an integrated dual-monitor mount and robust docking station were extremely rare, except for a Humanscale split dock with some functions and connections placed under a desk in a separate box with only USB connections on the top of the desk. The standard single display mount costs $350 on Amazon and via Sabrent, and you can add another display arm for $70. During my cursory tests with my Mac and Windows laptops, it delivered everything Sabrent promised, but I foresee myself ponying up some dollars for the additional arm. However, the weight capacity may not be enough for power users; the gas-lift arm mount supports monitors up to 32 inches and 10kg (22 lbs) each. This is a decent range for many folks, but it might be a limitation for those with larger or heavier displays. The gas-lift arm allows for height adjustment, tilt, and swivel. Introduced within the past few weeks, the Sabrent DS-T4WA is indeed a feature-rich docking station with a wide array of ports and capabilities. Hereโs a summary of what it offers: Video Output: โข 1x HDMI 2.1 port (up to 8K/30Hz with DSC or 4K/60Hz with HDR and HDCP 2.3) โข 1x DisplayPort 1.4 port (up to 8K/30Hz with DSC or 4K/60Hz with HDR and HDCP 2.3) Thunderbolt Ports: โข 1x Thunderbolt 4 upstream port (connects to your computer, up to 40Gbps) โข 1x Thunderbolt 4 downstream port (for daisy-chaining or connecting other Thunderbolt devices, up to 40Gbps) USB Ports: โข 2x USB-C ports (10Gbps, USB 3.2 Gen 2x1, with 5V/1.5A charging) โข 1x USB-A port (10Gbps, USB 3.2 Gen 2x1, with 5V/1.5A charging) โข 1x USB-A port (5Gbps, USB 3.2 Gen 1x1) A significant feature is the inclusion of USB Power Delivery (PD3.0) up to 60W for the host. This means that in addition to providing a comprehensive array of ports, the dock can also charge your laptop, phone, or other connected devices with up to 60W of power. Hereโs a quick overview of the power-related aspects: Power Delivery: Supports USB PD3.0 for up to 60W charging to the connected host device (e.g., laptop). This ensures that your laptop can be charged while connected to the dock. Power Supply: The dock comes with a 130W power brick. This is more than sufficient to power the dock itself and handle the 60W charging for your laptop, with additional power available for other connected devices and peripherals. The included 70cm (27.6 inches) Thunderbolt 4 cable should provide ample length for most setups, connecting the dock to your computer while maintaining full Thunderbolt 4 speeds and functionality. Overall, the Sabrent DS-T4WA expands your connectivity options and ensures that your laptop stays charged and ready to go, making it a robust and versatile addition to your workstation. However, before diving in, I suggest waiting until major sites like Tom's or PC Magazine publish expert hands-on reviews. Most available "reviews" at this early stage are reworded Sabrent product release documentation. My rating system: 5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value! 4 Stars = Excellent product. A solid buy. 3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised. 2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Read the critical reviews! 1 Star = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.

Clever integration of a docking station with monitor mount
Sabrent is always coming up with interesting products to connect and/or power computers and this is no exception. It's a very clever integration of a Thunderbolt 4 docking station and a single arm monitor mount. The mount itself works as well as any VESA mount I've tried. Assuming you get a product from a decent brand you'll seldom have problems with a mount. The interesting part is the docking station integration. Docking stations are not a 'one size fits all' device but this one covers a lot of bases. My personal focus with docking stations is the sheer number of ports at my disposal. My typical use case is with my laptop while traveling. I've got a great laptop but like many newer devices it only has 3 USB-C ports. One is taken up by the power cable, one by my wireless mouse which leaves me one 'discretionary' port. Some people place a greater emphasis on multiple monitors or high quality video. That appears to be a strength of this docking station. I tried it with a dual monitor set up and it worked fine. Given the typical form factor and use case for the docking station, the primary use for this monitor arm/docking station is intriguing. I haven't had a chance to try anything in this regard but I can see a possible benefit with cable management and reducing desktop clutter. It's clearly not something that could benefit a frequent traveling remote worker--not exactly something you can stow under the front seat on a plane. As I noted above, however, there's no 'one size fits all' docking station. There are as many use cases and functionality requirements as there are computer users. The fact that I might not have any relevant purpose for this monitor mount/docking station mashup isn't an indictment of its quality or usefulness. The monitor arm works just fine and the docking station delivers the typically solid quality and performance I associate with Sabrent. I also respect the fact that they're trying new and different things. Highly recommended.

It's ok, but for the price it should include display port 2.1 vs 1.4
This is an innovative design. I like that it includes thunderbolt 4 and that it also is designed to hold two monitors (if you buy the extra arm). The problem with this is that you can't raise it up very high, especially if you plan to put two monitors on them. Also, this is not curved monitor friendly in my opinion and the weight limit that it can hold is pretty low for the sizes this advertises to hold. The big things for me besides that though- for the price I don't feel like this is a good value, especially since you have to buy another arm to make this a dual monitor stand. The ports on this is out of date already. Display port 1.4 should not be offered, rather 2.1 at this price. Also, the 1 Gbps ethernet port is also low when you think about most people are getting much faster speeds through their ISPs right now. This is not worth the at the time of writing $349 price tag with these older specs and just an ok monitor arm.

Good functionality - Triple 4K60 - 130W PSU limits charging to 60W - questionable value
The Sabrent DS-T4WA is the first commercialized product based on ODM design #1217 by Fullink Technology Co Ltd.. It integrates a Thunderbolt 4 dock station into a VESA monitor arm. The design has been listed on Fullink's website since 2022 but we've had to wait 2 years to actually get it certified by Intel and available for sale by a USA brand. Dock station: Functionality is similar to other Thunderbolt docks. It is based on the Intel JHL8440 Thunderbolt controller with: - ViaLabs VL817 and VL822 USB hub controller chips - Synaptics VMM6210 MST controller for the DP and HDMI ports. - Asix AX88179 1Gb/s Ethernet - KTO200 audio chip - Genesys GL3231S SD card reader This enables 3x 4K60 monitors alongside standard 10Gb/s USB peripherals. Or 2x 4K60 monitors with a downstream Thunderbolt port that could be used for fast SSD storage or some other PCIe device. Like I mentioned before, this is the same as any other dock. Upon disassembly, I found that the JHL8440 chip has a thermal pad/heatsink, but none of the other chips do. There is plenty of space to add thermal pads between the aluminum chassis and the PCB for the other chips, but Sabrent/SSI didn't bother. This is probably a cost-saving measure. But this speaks to a lack of quality and pride in workmanship for what is being marketed as a premium product. Thermal pads just make these hot chips run more reliably over the long term. VESA arm: - It's nothing special - just off-the shelf components - similar to a $40 VESA mount from any number of brands. - Sabrent mentions a weight limit of 22 pounds which is OK for most 32" and 34" ultrawide monitors but may be too low for 39" Ultrawides. Sadly, Sabrent does not specify the minimum weight, but I estimate its around 5-6 pounds which is probably a bit too strong for a small laptop + tray without adding more weight. Issues: - Included Thunderbolt cable is too short (70cm) for easy VESA adjustability if you want your laptop to be on the arm. Its OK if your laptop rests on the desk. - Included power supply is 130W which limits laptop charging to 60W. The Fullink #1217 model is capable of using a 150W power supply to enable 85W laptop charging. This cost saving measure is quite disappointing as it makes it impossible to use performance-oriented laptops with an Nvidia GPU at full power. Value: - Given that there are dozens of Thunderbolt 4 docks with same or better features for $200-$250, and dual gas adjustable VESA arms can be had for $50-$70, the pricing of this product at $350 is just too high. At this price point, Sabrent should be including the optional second monitor arm, but instead, that is a $70 add-on. So you're looking at $420 total for the Sabrent dual-monitor solution vs $250-$320 plus some velcro straps or zip-ties for other brands. Thats a 30-68% price premium. - There is certainly some value in having the dock integrated into the VESA arm and bolted to the desk. So if Sabrent included the second monitor arm, a 150W PSU to enable 85W laptop charging, and a longer Thunderbolt cable, it would be a 5-star product at this price point.

Workspace Wonder
In my quest to declutter and optimize my workspace, I recently ordered the SABRENT Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station with Monitor Desk Mount. This powerhouse combination has truly transformed my desk setup, offering a blend of functionality, convenience, and sleek aesthetics that's hard to beat. First impressions were all about its solid build quality. The docking station feels premium and durable, while the gas-lift monitor arm is smooth and sturdy, capable of holding my 32-inch monitor with ease. The finish adds a touch of modern elegance to my desk, making it a visually pleasing addition. But it's the functionality that truly shines. This docking station is a connectivity hub, offering a plethora of ports to streamline my workflow. The four USB ports allow me to connect my keyboard, mouse, external hard drive, and other peripherals, while the UHS-II card reader makes it easy to transfer photos and videos. The Gigabit Ethernet port ensures a fast and reliable internet connection, and the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs support stunning 8K/4K visuals. The monitor desk mount is a game-changer. It frees up valuable desk space, allowing me to spread out and work more comfortably. The gas-lift arm makes it easy to adjust the monitor's height, angle, and position, promoting better ergonomics and reducing neck and eye strain. I've been particularly impressed by the Thunderbolt 4 technology. It delivers lightning-fast data transfer speeds and supports multiple displays, making it ideal for multitasking and creative work. The docking station has also been incredibly reliable, with no connectivity issues or performance hiccups. If you're looking to declutter your desk, enhance your productivity, and create a more ergonomic and stylish workspace, this is a fantastic investment. It's a powerhouse combination that delivers on all fronts, offering a seamless blend of convenience, performance, and aesthetics.
