This is a sturdy robust flask with a massive 1.9l capacity, roughly a kettle and a half. I bought this specifically for taking in the woods with lots of children in tow. It’s not the lightest to carry especially when full but I need something thats not going to break. The casing is strong metal, it should take impacts well. There’s a little arrow on the cap to indicate where the water will pour without removing it completely. This helps to keep the contents hot. It comes with a single cup that screws on top of the flask. This is actually bigger than some I’ve had previously. Enough for an actual drink. On first trial I left the flask for 24 hours. It was hot! Even for me who drinks black coffee. I hadn’t pre heated the inside before filling, just poured the boiling water directly into the tank. I love the design Which is quite vintage. My chosen colour a nice sage green. Very stylish. I will be purchasing the travel cup in the same range.

I purchased the biggest size and its huge!! Absolutely brilliant, got it as a gift for the other half as hes out most hours working and its perfect for when he goes fishing too!! All information is correct, it keeps your drinks hot for so long! My partner left his in the car by mistake and took it out the following morning (he had it all day prior) and we tested the heat to just see and it was still warm (warm enough to drink id say) thats mental for that many hours! Its easy to clean, dish washer friendly too! Brilliant price and all round great quality! Perfect for a gift or just for yourself if your having long days out working or day trips etc! I highly recommend!!

I bought this flask in 2018 for work, it has been used 5 days a week every week since then and its still going strong! keeps the water boiling hot, doesnt leak, its super sturdy (has fallen out of my van a few times and survived) easy to clean, and the size means it gives me enough coffee each shift! i only use mine for hot water i never add anything to it. definitely buy this flask again.

I bought this flask just over a year ago (September 2022) due to the fact I needed something to contain and keep boiled hot water for making several cups of tea throughout the day as I am working from home and really couldn't bare the thought of keep boiling the kettle every time I wanted a cuppa. Now yes it is debatable on whether or not boiling a full kettle and keeping in a flask saves money on energy over just boiling a mug's worth of water for each cuppa - but I decided to go the flask route as in my mind it is a conscious thing not to boil the kettle over and over again. As it is a Stanley product I am well aware of the reliability of their tools and other items - so it seems this follow into the flasks... and they have built flasks for a few decades. The materials are of robust construction - inside is stainless steel and stay relatively clean by just flushing out with clean water after each use - but i do a more deeper clean each weekend using a non-toxic solution sterilising agent. Now how long can it keep that freshly boiled water hot? Well I have found that filling the flask full at 08:45 in the morning it is still hot at 10pm at night (after doing a test). Now obviously after opening and using the water for around 5 cups of tea the lesser the water in the flask the shorter the 'keeping hot' effects wear off... but even with around two mugs of water left the water is still hot at 6pm... so not much of a difference. Yes we all know that the perfect cup of tea should be done by pouring freshly boiled water - but for saving money I have found the flask option still makes a good cuppa. And for those who drink coffee then it is a perfect option. HINT: On a Monday morning I fill the kettle with hot tap water (from a Combi-boiler) about quarter full to warm the flask up first - then I boil a full kettle - and when boiled I make my first cup of tea, empty the warm water from the flask then the remaining hot water I fill the flask full and seal it shut with the stopper and cup-top. Any unused hot water remaining in the flask I keep in there for the following morning as it keeps the flash warm again for the following day procedure. Overall I have found this a great item to makes those quick cuppas flowing instead of standing waiting for the kettle to boil again. After a year of use it is still keeping freshly boiled water very hot all day. As I am not a camper or hiker as such - this 1.9ltr flask is probably on the large side if only requiring a couple of drinks as it does hold a large amount of water - so for hiking I would recommend a smaller flask - just check on what size you would need. But I would recommend Stanley.

I bought this for my work as I work outside and also do on calls through work so having a decent amount of hot water is always a bonus. The flask keeps water piping hot for ages unlike other flasks. It's a sturdy flask and has took multiple bashes in its time. The only gripe I have with it is it builds pressure up inside after filling and can pop the sealed lid off which in returns leaks boiling fluid over everything. If it never done that it would be 5 stars but for the price you'd expect it to have stronger threads.

Not used it properly yet, but did wash it out and filled it up with boiling water and it was still very hoy 24 hours later.
