After a recent illness and starting to look like something that has been dug up some drastic action was needed. My normal upkeep has been sadly lacking for quite a while. These pads are brilliant. Price is good so I can use a couple of pads for face, neck, chest and also back of hands and elbows.......all the areas that are dry, flaky and show how old you really are. I have also used another pad from a '' doctor's'' range and although these ones are thinner I am getting just as good results and will re purchase

These pads are fab but the packaging let's it down for a 5 very difficult to get out of the bag.

These pads are very small and thin. I could not feel any texture for exfoliating on my face. However, the solution was refreshing and left my skin feeling clean.

I definitely recommend these face pads, they’re absolutely brilliant. The glycolic ccid acts as a no-scrub exfoliator, which works on the outside of your skin to dissolve dead skin cells laying on the top surface. These pads also contain salicylic acid, which cleans the inside of your pores, flushing out excess oil that can cause blackheads and enlarged pores. If you don’t rinse your face with water after using these, it can leave your skin looking a little rosy for a few hours afterwards, but the addition of the soothing ingredients, such as calendula, allantoin, and green tea calms it quickly. These pads remove any flaky dry patches on your skin, which you can see almost instantly. They leave your skin looking really alive, fresh and glowing. I found it best to use them every day for the first week or so to start with, after that a couple of times per week seems to be enough to keep your skin looking its new best. The pads are quite thin and delicate to handle, but not so thin that you need more than one at a time. One side is smooth, while the other side is gently textured. To use them, you use the textured side first, wait a couple of minutes, then wipe over your skin with the smooth side, before rinsing with water. It’s recommended to use them in the evenings, or you do use them during the day time, make sure you use sun screen. They do gently remove the top layer of skin, so it’s important to protect the fresh skin underneath from immediate sun damage. The pouch the pads come in resealable, and there is loads of spare liquid inside it, so there’s no fear of them drying out before you get to use them all.
