The length of each link is 1/2", so divide the number of links (e.g., 112) by 2 to get length: 112/2=56".

How do you break the chain? My chain breaker is not pushing the pin at all. Do I need a different type of chain breaker?

My chain breaker pushed it though one side, but not all the way, so I flipped it, and pushed it back through to the other side. Took a little work, but that's what worked for me. For that first break, you gotta really give it some elbow grease.
