This Computer is What I Needed within the Price I Could Afford
I was supposed to begin learning Unreal Engine, but discovered that my old Laptop couldn't run it. So, after some research, I bought the Beelink SER9 MAC Mini PC and I love it. Granted, there are better computers for dealing with that software, but this works within my price range. The computer is fast and performs well. Its tiny size makes it easily portable (I have a case to carry it in) and I use a Laptop-style interface that has a folding monitor and keyboard connected together. The hardware seems plenty adequate, though I'm not an expert on such things. For those who might want to use the engine software, be aware that you probably need to plug via ethernet cable directly into the router as the Wi-Fi tends to get overwork and shut down while the engine is running.

My first mini PC and it's great
I wanted a SER8 with Ryzen 7 8745HS but got this one instead when it was on sale. I'm not sure about the difference between the SER8 vs. SER9, but it seems only the CPU was a rebranded and slightly newer than the 8745. All the ports in this SER9 are the same as the ones inn SER8. I'm not interested in getting the AI chip in the 8845 HS variance, so this configuration is perfect for my use case. Pros: Small footprint Very good build quality - The aluminum case looks great It runs extremely quiet - Even on heavy load when I transfer data, I could not notice the fan's noise Easy to add another SSD - Just open the bottom cover and the dust filter, unscrew the SSD heatsink, and you can add another SSD Good amount of ports - USB A & C, HDMI, & display port Overall great little machine for the price Cons: Wi-Fi signal can be sporadic - The metal does not help with Wi-Fi signal, when I was testing the machine in my living room (about 10 ft to the main mesh router in the same living room), it could NOT receive any Wi-Fi signal. But it works fine when I put it in the living room, about 20 ft away from another mesh router Hard to replace coin battery on motherboard - The battery is located towards the top of the mini PC, in order to get to it, SSD's and RAM need to be removed, then disconnect the small board for front I/O ports and power button (this board is connected to the motherboard via a small cable). It can be a hustle to remove so many things just to get to the battery. I think the SER9 Pro has a much better design, with the battery at the bottom of the board where it's much easier to replace.

My mini new modern desktop.
Work pretty well and super-fast. Worth the money. Save space. Eazy to set up.

Good box for writing and web crawling, has some weirdness
I like it, it does what I want it to do 97% of the time. That other three percent is really annoying though. Of course, it may just be Windows 11, so I don't want to complain too much, but when the machine has to be shut down by pulling the power cord, or won't boot at all, it's a problem. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen.

It’s Quiet
I replaced a 4 year old Alienware desktop with this Beelink Ser8. Love all of the space this frees up and it’s really quiet. Putting this on my desk, just under the monitor, main concern was potential fan noise, but this runs very quiet. Now it’s not a gaming rig and doesn’t come close in gaming performance to my old machine, but as gaming is no longer a priority, this does a fine job. Setup was fairly easy, though I did open it up to add a 2nd SSD and installation was straight forward. I liked that windows did not include the usual bloatware and getting up and running was a breeze. It’s a fast machine and has no issues running all of my applications. Gaming performance was ok for games like World of Warcraft, but not if you have more graphics intensive games. The integrated graphics does a decent job but is limited. As I’ll say again, machine runs quiet, doesn’t get very hot at least from what I feel from the fan exhaust. For what you get, the Ser8 offers good value for the money. Only thing I wished it had was more usb ports.

It only worked for one year.
This pc barely made it last a year. Now that a year has passed, even opening the Amazon site is so difficult due to lagging so bad.

Fast and worked well
I have been using this for 4 months, and it has worked great. Fast web page browsing and app start up. I got the one with only HDMI ports since that is what I was using before (two old monitors) but wishing I had bought one with Display Port as well for newer monitors to get the full resolution features. I like that in the front there is an audio, USB-C and USB-A ports plus three UBS-Cs in the back. One important note is that there is no video or audio features like on a laptop, so you would need a camera and microphone. I have an external speaker that I plug in. Here is the model I got: Beelink EQR7 Mini PC, AMD Ryzen 5 7535U(6C/12T, Up to 4.55GHz), Mini Computer 32G LPDDR5 RAM 1TB PCIe4.0 SSD, Built-in Power Supply 4K@60Hz Dual Display HDMI/WiFi6/BT5.2/1000Mbps/Home/Office

Really good Performance Mini-PC
Very good performance including WiFi connnectivity and Bluetooth, runs silent and does not get hot. Nice small footprint which was simple to setup with my 34” monitor, and keyboard/mouse. I use it every day for office use over the past year and find it to be capable, and speedy with apps. There was a little gotcha with a driver that had to be updated after a Windows update, but otherwise system has been flawless.

Early days but a great little Windows PC
I bought this out of curiosity, because it sounds almost too good to be true. I screwed it to the back of an old screen (needed an HDMI to VGA adapter as the U59 only has HDMI ports), plugged in USB mouse and keyboard, connected to the home ethernet, powered up and off it went with no problems at all. A lengthy process of Windows introducing itself and then downloading and installing updates, but that's to be expected. From pressing the power button to seeing the Windows 10 login screen takes 15 seconds. It's invisible, fast (as much as one needs for a normal domestic PC) and silent. I installed MS Office Pro+ with no trouble, and have plugged in a webcam and used it for skyping. Wifi connection works fine. It doesn't have the expansion possibilities of a conventional desktop PC, or the portability of a laptop, but for many users it would probably be better than either. I'm used to PCs lasting at least 10 years and Beelink is unknown to me, I hope they can prove their reliability to be up with the better-known names. So far, I'm very impressed with it.

Awesome little PC
Works great. It's fast, it's compact, and it does everything I need it to do for a fraction of the cost and space. I needed a better computer to handle regular-duty tasks (running excel files, some pretty extensive word-processing software, videos, internet browsing, and zoom calls). This does all of that with ease and fits perfectly on the foot of my monitor. ❤️
