Lovely soothing scent and not overly greasy or expensive.

Lavender stench
What you should know is that it strongly smells of lavender and that there is not even a hint of cocoa about it, apart from that the oil is fine

Excellent
Very nice sensual smell

Disappointed
Unfortunately it smells more like a faint lavender than any cocoa. It drys up fairly quickly on the feet and body so you have to reapply over and over. I wont be ordering it in future.

mainly sunflower seed oil, which isn’t healthy
This is a poor product. It’s mainly sunflower seed oil, which isn’t healthy. Why did they hide the main ingredient? i only learned it once i held it in my hand. the ingredient are not listed in amazon

I bought this massage oil to use on the body as a moisturizer opposed to a massage oil. I have been using castor oil on the face & body for the past few years, which I love, but I find it too thick to lather on the body, plus I wanted a change with essential oils. I thought about doing a DIY body oil, but wanted to try this brand first to see how it felt & worked. The oil is much less viscous than castor oil - it has more of a runny viscosity like baby oil, which surprised me. So, I was caught off guard by how much came out of the bottle when I first used it. There was no spout to control the amount like a squeeze bottle, so you really need to be careful when you pour from the bottle. When I opened the bottle, I was hit with the smell of essential oils, but it was nothing like I expected being a "sensual" massage oil. It smelled more musky, but with continued usage & skin absorption, a hint of sensuality came through. The oil lathered on quite well onto the body, did not feel sticky, absorbed into & moisturized the skin. It also did not stain the clothes or sheets. In fact, it made my pajamas smell really nice, like a spa. Overall, if you are a body & essential oil fanatic like I am, this massage oil fits the bill. I took one star because for the size, the price is rather steep. If it were 16 ounces, the price would be more apropos. I haven't decided yet if I will repurchase this oil or make my own DIY to cut costs.

Smells nice - fits with the relaxation mood I'm aiming for. While it is an oil, it does not leave an oily feel and a little goes a long way (I'm used to lotions and oils absorbing into my skin, causing me to use a lot).

I’ve tried their lavender oil and sore muscle oil and all three smell great but the cocoa oil is by far the best so far. I’ve been using them at home but would love to start using this in my clinic. I tried adding their essential oil to my coconut oil in the clinic but don’t like it at all. I would like to buy their massage oils in bulk for work. I’m not sure buying 8 ounces at a time is economical.

I originally bought this for lymphatic drainage massage but quickly started to use it everyday. I mix it in with my body moisturizer, does wonders to my skin! As well… if you’re sunburnt … this stuff works better than aloe. Already on my second bottle of the ‘sensuous & uplifting massage oil’
