If you order a white one, then yes you will use the loops and buy a cover for it. I haven't ordered one yet. The loop come in handy cause the other covers you order are "sacks" that you slide the comforter into, then they never stay in place

Is it warm enough for winter?

We had an exceptionally cold winter for us in south Jersey this January and I found it quite comfortable, some nights I had to toss it off for a while. It is heavier than I had expected, I love it.

is this 100% down? or does it have feather too? if so what is % of each

The one I recieved was 90% feathers and 10% down, unlike what they advertise 80% down 20% feathers. I returned it immediately. You can get one that's 90% feathers for half the price.

Does this comforter have full baffeling? Thank you.

Yes, it has full baffeling, but you still need to shake it from time to time to re-fluff the feathers. This is the highest quality and quantity of a feather comforter I've ever seen. You can sleep on it in the summer and under it in the winter. I love its versitility and luxury.
