This is the Oil Filter that the Briggs & Stratton Engine was fitted with when I received it. There is a Yellow painted Version (more expensive) which I guess has a larger capacity or better filtering. I took the view that, as this is what it came with and the oil in the engine looked like new, after Many, Many hours of grass cutting, this is the one to use The engine is fitted in a Husqvarner rotary mower (In my opinion the best mower on the market).

Haven't used it yet so juries out.

Great value ,used on a rideon lawnmower

The description was misleading cause I thought the construction material was plastic buyout is actually metal or an alloy. It was a replica of the engines original filter and I like to use original parts from the manufacturer when possible.

Removed the old filter and replaced it with the new one with no problem.

Great price. Fits my 500cc B&S intec. Looks genuine. Note: Yellow sticker has been replaced by white painted on label.

Looks genuine and fitted fine onto my Stiga Lawn Tractor ( 500cc Briggs & Stratton), same is the original I took off. One thing to note for those doing on oil & filter change. Briggs & Stratton updated their recommendations for oil in their engines not too long ago. They now recommend fully synthetic multi-grade oil. If you're running throughout the year and into the cold weather, then it's worth getting a decent 10w-40 oil.

Fits and works as it should

I love the Briggs & Stratton 2-1/4" Standard Oil Filter! It is a perfect fit for my engine and keeps it running smoothly. The quality is amazing, and I have noticed a significant improvement in performance since using it. I highly recommend this oil filter to anyone with a Briggs & Stratton engine. It is durable, easy to install, and does a fantastic job of keeping the engine well-lubricated. The price is reasonable for the value it provides. The only downside is that it may be slightly more expensive than other filters on the market, but the quality makes it worth every penny.
