Does the job
My HVAC man did a routine test on my heat pump and found the condensate float switch closed in both the up and down position. He wanted $300 to replace this switch, so I told him I would take care of it. This new switch did the job and gave me back my drain safety.This switch came with its own PVC receptacle, but whoever installed my original glued the PVC parts together, and I could not separate them. The new switch was just a bit smaller in diameter, so does not fit snugly. This is where gravity takes over and keeps the switch in the receptacle. Works great, and saved me $280.

Needs Longer Output Cable
This unit replaced a ballast that had died after 6 years of service. I like the magnetic bracket and the boot that covers the connector and base of the lamp. Should keep out moisture, which probably killed the previous ballast. Wish it had a longer output cord from ballast to lamp (minus 1 star). I had to mount the ballast a lot closer to the furnace to get the cable to reach the lamp location near the A-coil. New lamp seems brighter through the supplied viewport, which I had to drill a hole in the furnace cover to install. Let's see if this unit will last 6 years......
