These dog bowls work great! We took in a rescue who had sadly been starved by her previous owner. Consequently, she scarfs all of her food down now without even chewing it. This bowl allows her to go a little slower when she’s eating but not so slow that she gets frustrated or looses interest. The bowl is suitable for about 1 cup of food - it gets in all of the little crevices (I think the details say max 2 cups but I don’t know if it would really hold 2 cups in the crevices). Our dog is a Heeler/Pit mix, she’s about 30 pounds right now and the size is perfect for her. I just put it on the floor and she doesn’t seem to have a problem with the height but I imagine you could put it on a riser if you needed it higher. There are rubber feet on the bottom so the bowl doesn’t slide around. It looks pretty, it’s made of sturdy plastic, washes easily and easy to use! This photos show 1 cup of food. Any more and it will cover up the little pieces that stick up to create the crevices which would kind of make it pointless at that point.

These bowls have been great for my two mini doodles to use. I purchased a large one for one of my standard doodles who is on a steroid and scarfing down her food, and then purchased more for the other 3 as well. These smaller bowls hold 1 cup as mentioned, and I can stack a little more on top too if needed. They are nice and sturdy, allow the dogs to easily reach their food, but slows them down slightly, and are easy to clean.

My puppy eats so fast like she is in a competition and her life depends on it. I bought these hoping it slows her down. Well it did exactlly that which I am very pleased about. Thr fact that you get 2 is really nice, I use 1 for water and 1 for food. She can still drink as fast as she pleases, it just looks nice to have two matching bowls. Oh and the colors the seller puts together are very pretty complement each other.

My dogs are so much happier eating from these bowls vs. a smooth bottom bowl. We tried these to see if it would encourage our dog to eat as he stopped wanting to eat from his smooth bowl. Surprisingly it has worked. I don’t know why other than a primal thing but he eats every bite now. It is harder to clean than a smooth bowl due to all the parts in the bowl but still highly recommend. They do not flip easy due to wide bottom which I love. It is funny to note these came in two colors and our dogs know which bowl is theirs and will not eat if given the wrong colored bowl. Gotta love our fur-babies.

My two puppies were finishing their food in about 10 seconds. Now by using these slow feeder bowls they are now taking more time. It now takes them about 5-7 minutes to finish their meals. These bowls have stopped them from gulping down the food plus they aren’t choking anymore. This has been great addition to meal time. I usually have to mix their food in a separate bowl because of the pumpkin and other things I mix in then I will put the food in the slow feeder. I chose the blue and pink bowl set which makes its so easy to know who gets what. I would describe the bowl like a maze and the food falls into this little maze making the pups work to get the food out of it. The bowls are a nice hard plastic and even though the puppies have chewed on them they shown very little abuse. These are the perfect size for our two Corgi puppies. They would be good for small to medium senior dogs as well. I highly recommend these bowl for those of you with pups that gulp their food really fast.

My little psycho pup eats like he’s been starving his whole life, literally inhales his food. We got him this slow feeder and it’s increased his feeding time significantly. Now I can have peace of mind that he won’t choke on it. He also can’t lift it to throw it around which is great and it has these grips on the bottom which prevent it from sliding around when he’s trying to get into the nooks and crannies. We keep one at home and have one to his grandpawrents to keep for when he visits. It’s been an amazing tool for this crazy pup.

Great price. Works great for my dogs that eat to fast. Sturdy, & they are able to eat from them easily.

Excellent quality, perfect sizing and absolutely works. We ordered this bowl to slow down our recent foster dog that was in the habit of gulping her dry food because she came from a shelter initially. Her breed is prone to bloating and we wanted to get a handle on her eating issue quickly. This bowl helped slow her down immediately. The bowl works because the kibbles get trapped in the plastic mazes and it forces the dog to think and work at prying them out with their tongue and/or teeth. Not only is this a great way to slow down feeding and it helps tire them out using mental stimulation. I also want to praise the creators for durability! Our girl had some serious "resource guarding" problems after being in the shelter system and she really hung unto this bowl for dear life. Chewed it, slept with it, etc. The bowl has withstood all of her sharp teeth, large breed, guarding behavior, or lack of behavior (lol). A great purchase for so many reasons.
