Poly Nail Gel Set: Nude & Dark Almond Gel Builder

I am beyond impressed with this Makartt Hema-Free Set. If you’re looking for a sophisticated, professional look that doesn't irritate your skin, this is the gold standard for home manicures. Why This Set Stands Out: Hema-Free is a Game Changer: I love that Makartt is offering a Hema-Free option. It feels much gentler on the nails, and it’s a huge relief for anyone who has experienced sensitivity or "heat spikes" with other gels. Flawless Neutral Shades: The Nude and Dark Almond are stunning. They have just enough pigment to hide any imperfections on the natural nail while still looking incredibly elegant. The Dark Almond is especially beautiful as a base for a classic French tip. Butter-Smooth Application: The consistency is fantastic. It isn't overly sticky, which makes it very easy to pat into place using a dual form or paper form without it running into the cuticles. Salon Quality at Home: The finish is high-shine and very durable. I’ve found that these neutral tones grow out much more gracefully than bright colors, making my sets look fresh for 3+ weeks. Quick Tips for Best Results: Thin Layers: Since these shades are a bit more opaque, I recommend doing a slightly thinner layer and curing for the full 60 seconds (LED) to ensure it’s hardened all the way through. Prep is Everything: Pair this with a good dehydrator and primer to take full advantage of the Hema-Free formula’s staying power. Final Verdict: An absolute must-have for anyone who prefers a "minimalist" or professional nail look. It’s high-quality, safe for sensitive skin, and looks like a million bucks!

I purchased not only the white polygel but also the markartt green polygel kit. The green nails I did were my very first ever set of polygel nails! Polygel is super beginner friendly and I highly suggest it. My second set I painted over with regular polish (red and sparkles). And my most recent set I did with the white polygel as well as the clear that came with my kit. I also decided to buy some gel polish and gold flakes. I have never done nails before and I gotta say that I think they turned out really well. The polygel was strong and lasted about 5-6 weeks. Pros: -Beautiful colors -super adaptable -beginner friendly -not overly time consuming -long lasting -light weight Cons: -I recommend getting an electronic file to help the removal process. (Otherwise it takes ages) -dual forms get super sticky afterwards and are difficult to clean. (Soak in nail polish remover) -with mixing the pigmented polygel and the clear polygel you run the risk of your nails breaking easier. (Not practical; stick with one color and then adding design on top) Breakdown of each set: Set 1; Green polygel kit My first ever set of polygel nails! I was so excited about this kit. However, I was super upset because I had paid for two day shipping and it took three weeks to arrive! Although the polygel took forever to arrive, the lamp I purchased on the same day from markartt only took one day to arrive. Altough the shipping was inconsistent everything arrived unscathed and I was super excited to do my first ever set. This set took me about 3-4 hours. I ended up taking a little dotting tool and regular dark green polish to decorate the nails. I gotta say that on my first set, my nails were super thick. To thin out the underside of my nails after curing I had to use an e-file. I was nervous to use and e-file because I’m not a professional and I gotta say after doing a few sets I am glad I have it. Set 2; Red & Sparkly The red sparkly set I did, I used the white polygel as the base. This set was super simple. It took maybe 3 hours including the red and sparkle polish on top. Super simple. Set 3; Clear/White Marble + Gold This set was by far my most complicated one. I had an idea in my head to make clear and white marble nails. After finishing the set I realized that just the clear and white looked kinda funny and I wanted to do something dramatic with them. I went ahead and purchased some gold and rose gold flakes as well as a gel polish set. I used the markartt base polish as a type of glue for the gold flakes and it worked really well. And then I used the gold glittery gel polish for my accent nail. Although these nails were beautiful, they didn’t last as long as my first two sets. I think the combination of the clear polygel and the pigmented polygel mixed together made the nail loose structural stability. I think that using two different pigmented polygels would probably work better. The clear polygel is just a slightly thinner consistency. These nails took about 4 hours to do, but only lasted 3 weeks.

I really like this poly gel set for creating soft, natural-looking nail sets. The nude shades are pretty and flattering, especially if you like a clean, neutral manicure that still looks polished. The gel has a workable consistency that makes it easier to shape and smooth before curing, which is helpful whether you’re doing a full set or just adding structure and length. I also like that having multiple nude tones in one kit gives you options depending on the look you want. Overall, it’s a nice set for anyone who enjoys doing nails at home and wants versatile nude colors that can work for everyday wear or more elegant designs.

I have given this four stars only because the picture shows more of a nude. While I do love the color that it really is it's more a nude pink. I am new to the polygel world I started out with modelones brand. Which is a little too sticky and more loose in the product. This one was excellent it was more firm and easier to maneuver. I am excited about trying all other new colors I highly recommend it! Update: I also ended up buying the clear makartt. Just wonderful!! I struggled so much with modelones polygel. This one does not stick at all and it just makes it easy to manuever. I encapsulated some glitter and I absolutely love the outcome! Will keep buying more colors!

Excellent polygel. It has an ideal consistency—not too runny and not too thick—making it easy to mold. Once cured, it's strong and has a very nice finish. It's perfect for creating long-lasting, natural-looking extensions. It arrived brand new, well-sealed, and met my expectations. I would definitely buy it again.

Very good product, but I am disappointed that I did not get as much product I was expecting!! I got much to little poly gel.

To anyone skeptical about buying this gel, JUST GET IT! Ive had it for about 2 weeks and it works fine . The only thing to keep in mind is that you must know what you are doing! If you’ve never done a poly gel set it will be difficult, however it’s not impossible to learn with just a bunch of quick videos. Make sure you are buying the proper prep tools before applying the poly gel to your hands to ensure they stay on your nail and don’t cause other issues with your skin. The gel in itself is great, YOU just have to work with it. Make sure your cure lamp is enough watts to cure your gel (a quick look online will tell you how many watts you’d need.) The gel must be stored room temperature, and when first out of the bottle yes it is sticky but if you use 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol or slip solution that you can find on Amazon also, that eliminates the stickiness. Dip your brush tool in the alcohol/slip solution, dap it a bit on a dry paper towel, and then PAT DOWN the poly gel to cover the nail.

This nail product is spectacular, it comes in several shades, it works super well for me to keep my nails long and neat, Its application is very easy due to its texture
