Excellent choice ieGeek double Security camera
Having already had 1 of the ieGeek 2.4/5GHz PTZ outdoor security cameras at the front of my house it made sense to buy the set of 2, especially considering the good price. In total I have 8 ieGeek cameras dotted in & around my house. Once again I wasn't disappointed with the end result, clear video, easy to use ieGeek App with the option to purchase subscription packages or just record to SD card. The installation process is made easy by the addition of a template that you can attach to the surface where the camera will go. You then simply drill a couple of holes into that surface or simply screw the camera into that surface & then connect the long USB lead to the enclosed USB plug & into a wall socket & you have installed your camera. Before you fix the security camera in place I find that it is easier to connect the camera to your internet router by simply following the instructions on the ieGeek App that is available by scanning the QR code within the documentation. All in all the 2 camera set from ieGeek was a good buy for me because of the ease of the installation (you can actually buy a ieGeek solar panel, instead of plugging the camera into a wall socket) thee ease of use of the App & the video quality is very good. I highly recommend this double camera unit

Excellent camera and value for money
I bought one of these to keep an eye on cows I had in a shed. The camera was that good I ended up buying another one for my parents house. This camera has everything; the camera picture is brilliant, the motion detector is very good and having the extra ability to speak on the app to anyone who is at your house is really good. The way you can turn the camera to see around my property at different angles, the night light mode. Not only does it have a sim card for recording, but if you dont have a sim in it still takes pictures of anything that triggers the motion detector and stores it in the app for 2 weeks. I have professional cameras installed that cost me a fortune but are planning to buy more of these to fit around my parents house. I also have recommended these cameras to so many people as they are really good quality at a good price Easy to install the app with no subscription fees, the camera easy to set up with the app.

Great camera, good resolution and easy set up. Howeverโฆโฆ
I already own an IE20 camera and was very satisfied with itโs performance which is what prompted be to purchase another ieGeek camera. As I was buying another ieGeek camera I erroneously expected to be able to use the same app but I have since found that this is not the case (my fault for not checking). The IE20 which uses the CamHiPro App whereas the ZS-GQ4 camera uses โieGeek Camโ which, according to ieGeek support the cameras/apps are not cross compatible. In my opinion the CamHiPro App gives you much more control over the camera. Rather disappointing that I have to have two different apps for cameras from the same supplier and have while I have a better camera I have less control. I would like to add that my issues have been addressed with ieGeek and would like to express my thanks for their prompt and friendly attitude. Exemplary customer support!

Amazing functions and features for the price! Zoom lets it down.
Amazing camera and functions..motion defection and tracking, you can make a zone perimeter for the camera, if mine goes to high the motion detection and tracking finds the traffic on the road. USB power supply. Excellent connection. Itโs on my flat balcony 12 floors up, watching my car. Takes a battering out there wind and rained on..no issues. ONLY BAD POINT I HAVE PTZ is pretty good, that being said. You zoom by pinching the screen like you would to zoom in on a photo, which kills picture quality. 4/5 Zoom function was disappointing or would of been a solid 5/5

A good camera in its class
I went for an ieGeek camera as I have had a couple up and running around the house for some years and have been very happy. I chose this camera as I wanted to be able to scan a wider area than possible with a static camera. Setting it up was much easier than previously, using CamHiPro and the AP Hotspot was really simple and quick. Settings are easy to understand and pictures are clear both day and night. It took a little effort to get sensitivity sorted and I'm still working on getting spiders to stay away and for the sensor to ignore the arrival of a small flock of pigeons! A problem with most cameras of this type is the tail line, in particular the RJ45 connector. If not wired, the connector is redundant. It would be nice if it was possible to just chop it off? Or it wasn't there? Getting it through a hole in a standard waterproof box requires a deal of cutting and slicing of seal and box. The power port and Reset button fit nicely. It is also much easier to fit everything into a small weatherproof box by replacing the bulky plug with an inline 12v transformer. There are suitable transformers for less than ยฃ10. Overall, I am very happy with the camera and won't hesitate to recommend it and the instant customer support response I had to a question. MORE After continuing difficulty getting motion detection to stop giving me false alarms, support offered to replace the camera. The replacement camera has behaved perfectly, further reinforcing my opinion about the camera and ieGeek support.

Recomended software could be better
Initially easy to set up using the Ethernet cable and 'phone app, however setting the motion detection zones on the 'phone app seem to have no effect on restricting the alarms from unwanted areas. Even having the sensitivity down at 2% results in multiple triggers from supposedly screened-off areas. The supplied manual is VERY basic and not helpful as to understanding the terminology however it does get you started. As usual with oriental documentation, the English translation leaves much to be desired. The real downside is the HiP2P software for use with a PC. The help files attached with this are very cryptic and explain things even less than the supplied booklet. Fortunately the manufacturer does respond quickly to emails with the offer to trouble-shoot the "problems" on your PC remotely. They did send me some links to videos "showing" how to set things up which if run in slow motion do give some guidance - but why don't they post links to them publicly? Setting motion detection zones on the HiP2P software seems more effective than the 'phone app although movement well outside the chosen areas still causes unwanted triggers. The lack of "Humanoid" detection is a big let-down; if it rains overnight you'll wake to find a series of alarm triggers for the whole duration of rainfall i.e. 15 second videos at up to 4 per minute times 60 per hour over a 6 hour shower could result in 1400+ separate videos! Try searching for something in that! All things considered, the camera's not too bad but is let down by abysmal software and virtually useless help files. Update 28 March 2022 After several emails to IEGeek regarding issues using the PC app & and its awful "help" files and problems with motion detection ureliability, it seems that my camera is defective. IEGeek have been excellent in trying to help and have now sent me a replacement camera to try. Changed my review to 4 stars; if the software was improved - especially the instructions, it'd be 5. Nevertheless, it represents pretty good value for money. EDIT Oct 2022..... I've recently had cause to view recorded alarms because a neighbour's car was broken into around 02:30 a.m. This happened on a foggy night and within a 3 hour time-frame but as I predicted in my earlier review, there were continuous alarms due to the fog retriggering the camera and it was impossible to search through more than 700 sequences to see if we'd recorded anything of use to the police. I now consider this device to be of little use as a practical security measure. It may provide a visual deterrent but as for providing usable footage when it's really needed it's a waste of money - especially when taking into account the absolutely rubbish software it uses. Perhaps if there was a software upgrade available to give it "humanoid detection" capabilities it would merit more stars but based on this recent experience I've downgraded it to 1 star because of it being an expensive visual deterrent.

Great IP Cameras
I would like to say how fantastic Igeek Customer Service is and how quickly they resolved the problem as my camera developed a fault over time of being up. The communication was excellent, they were very helpful and arranged for a replacement to be sent out with apologies. The problem was then resolved. The new camera is up and working perfectly fine. I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received from Customer Services they were 5 Star. This is an excellent camera for the cost. Full HD quality and wireless it pans and tilts which is a great advantage. The picture quality is excellent both night and day. Recordings can be saved to SD card with excellent playback. Controlling all the functions from your phone app works really well and incorporates many features that are useful to use. The motion detection and auto tracking are a great feature, you can set up in the app to receive push notifications when movement is detected which is a bonus feature. Very pleased with the overall camera and functions it includes. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to purchase an Igeek Camera. This is the 5th camera I have purchased from Igeek and all the cameras are fantastic I would not buy any other make. With all the features they have they are perfect for what we need.

Good camera but problem with recording.
After two months, the camera no longer records to the SD card. Other than that, everything is fine. Good image quality even at night and very good motion sensitivity.
