Pentair 42002-0024S Stack Flue Sensor Replacement Pool and Spa Heater Electrical Systems

I go through several of these a year due to sharing my pool heater with the neighborhood tree rats, therefore I can't vouch for the longevity of this device. My guess is they like the soy in the wires. It's an easy replacement and the pool's functioning again.

Easy enough to install yourself in under 5 minutes. Lot cheaper than paying over $100 for this part. Installed mine on Nov. 13, 2023. So far, so good.

Replaced the bad one with this one. The outdoor heater worked right away, and it has been lasting for more than three years so far without any issue.

Bought a used pool heater from a local person sellling it and after a month and a bit it stopped working, after doing some research on the code it showed this part needed replacing, was very easy to replace and got my pool heater working again! Nothing like jealous neighbours when you can swim on cold days!
