I’ve been using the Femometer Vinca II Basal Thermometer, and it’s really helpful for tracking ovulation and understanding my cycle. The readings are quick and accurate, and the backlit screen makes it easy for me to check the temperature even early in the morning. The app connection is simple to use and helps track patterns over time, which is useful for fertility awareness or cycle monitoring. Overall: A reliable basal thermometer that’s easy for me to use daily and feels like good value for money for anyone tracking ovulation or cycles

Not switching on and Not connecting to the app

I really wanted to like this basal thermometer, but a couple of things have let it down badly for me. The thermometer itself is small and looks decent, and when it actually works it seems reasonably accurate and easy enough to use. The real problems start as soon as you try to use it with the app. I’ve had repeated connection issues where it either won’t switch on properly or just refuses to link to the app, which is frustrating when you’re trying to track first thing in the morning. On top of that, a lot of the “intelligent” tracking and charting is locked behind a paid subscription that isn’t made very obvious up front – you effectively need to pay yearly to get the full benefit of the device. For the price of the thermometer itself, I wasn’t expecting to have to sign up for an expensive app on top. Overall, the hardware seems fine, but the combination of unreliable app connection and ongoing subscription costs means I wouldn’t choose this again – there are simpler and clearer options out there for basic BBT tracking.
