Anyone attach a 49in ultra wide monitor to this stand?

Yes. I have a Samsung Odessey G9 49" ultra-wide monitor on this stand. I used a tilting VESA mount plate: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CXNB571/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to provide adjustability and rigidity. I had to flip the bases so that the 90 degree bend faced outward to get it to fit around the GT Omega Prime cockpit.
