The capsules are the large size type, filled with the Fenugreek powder. I don't have a problem taking these but the capsules could be opened and added to food if you struggle to take larger tablets. I did open one and they do have a smell and taste similar to Fennel just not as intense. In capsule form you cant taste them and they don't repeat on me.
