This is my first cordless vacuum and I nearly didn't buy it because some reviewers stated that it doesn't clean carpets and rugs. It does. I got it on a deal. I'm not sure I would pay £200 for any vacuum cleaner (cordless or not) but this price is fantastic. It feels like a quality bit of kit. Well made and everything snaps into place. It comes with lots of accessories (for stairs, car cleaning, etc.) and a nice wall-mounted holder for it. It's pretty powerful. Obviously not as powerful as a corded cleaner but powerful enough to pick up 99% of debris and obviously it's great for a quick clean. And it absolutely works on carpets and rugs. I have a (very good) robovac and this sits somewhere between that and a corded cleaner in terms of power (I'd say it closer to a corded cleaner). The battery is great. I've charged it once and used it several times -- albeit it in a small apartment. I think I'll have to charge it about once a week. You can mount it in such a way that it charges will it's mounted but I used the mounting bracket without connecting the charger. Li-ion batteries really don't like to be kept on constant charge. I'll charge the battery separately as needed. Overall, it's great. I love it. 100% recommend.

So after reading all the “Great satisfaction “ /positives about this product I went head and purchased this Item . My wife can’t lift ( manage the corded vax which still does the job ) . I do the hoovering most times so she doesn’t need to worry about it . But she can’t help herself when I’m at work. So bought this one . She use it no more than 10 times and I said 10 not to go wrong with the number of times she used it . Well I changed it 3 times let’s put it this way . When stopped after the process dirt start coming back on the carpet not much but hey why any amount of dirt comes back anyway? Isn’t that defeating the porpoise of the hoover? And then the touch button at the front where you can increase the power of suction stopped working. I took the battery off / ON , nothing. Keep my finger longer on it etc . You suppose just to tap on it I mean light touch. In any case don’t bother with this product. What the point if 6-7 out of 10 works perfectly fine ? Are we playing lottery here ? I just want a product to work and that’s that . Lasted hardly 33 days . Counting the days I had . Count 3 charges that’s 3 days . There you go .

One to avoid. I purchased this at the beginning of April, not bad but the suction didn't match my old Bosch. I haven't any pets now so it can cope. Today I put it on charge and warning lights started to flash. I removed the battery and tried again, again flashing light. A battery should last more than two months. I have contacted the sellers but no response yet. My Bosch lasted ten years, think I'll buy another.

It looks and feels like a well designed, quality item, and the charging while in the storage bracket is great. The tangle-free brush really does prevent hair wrapping. However, I do not find the suction to be strong enough to pick up all the hairs from my 2 dogs. My cordless Vax was better and there is no comparison with my Sebo corded vacuum. I guess it will just be used for ad hoc vacuuming of solid objects.

Awful hoover. Doesn't pick up dog hair, just shifts it around. The finger print sensor stopped working so we could no longer increase the suction. Hair constantly gets wrapped around the roller. Returned and got my money back! For the price of this for not alot more you can get a decent brand hoover! Shocking
