Hamilton Beach 31700 Pizza Maker, 12 Inch Pizza Cooker, Red

I really like the way the pizza maker cooks pizza. The turn table helps brown and cook evenly. The timer is always accurate. The levels of temperature are easy to use. I follow along with manual booklet it tells me what number to cook fresh dough or frozen. I can make other items in this pizza maker like cookies biscuits, hot dogs I will follow the manual instructions. Easy clean up I cleaned turntable pan with soap and water. I thought the price was a little expensive but I had to have this pizza maker. I have owned one like this years ago and love it enough to buy another one. I like that it is lightweight it's easy to carry and the window on the cover is great to see how items are cooking.

This pizza maker heats up really well and works great for making a quick, homemade pizza — perfect for a movie night at home. I researched many of these devices before deciding on the Hamilton Beach. It costs a little more but I love it. It has a window and a timer. If you use self rising thick, frozen pizzas, set it to 19 or 20 minutes here in Wyoming, if it is a thin pizza, set it to 13 minutes or so. It can do lots of other tricks too, as it rotates and cooks on the top and bottom. The timer is great, as you set it and it shuts off when done, and you can wait a minute or two and then take it out and cut it up. I actually like the self rising pizzas better than a lot of order in pizzas. I put extra cheese on the thin pizzas, and other toppings too, to make them even better, but have to extend the cooking time by a couple minutes. If this broke tomorrow, I would have another one in two days. I love it.

Outstanding machine. We make everything from Pizza, egg rolls, quesadillas, biscuits, I even use it to roast veggies like okra, broccoli, carrots. We don't fry anything anymore to cut down on fat so this machine is great for anything you use to fry in a pan or deep fry. It does tater tots quick and easy ( my girls like the tots) Fish comes out perfect as well. I Can't say enough about this unit. The timer is one of the main reasons I bought it. My girls can make pizza without turning on the oven and me having to worry if they turned it off. Even young ones can slide a pizza or bagel bits in and set the timer. It will turn itself off and they can get to the food whenever they want. Again excellent product. Would buy over and over

Update, gave a second one a try and it failed in the same way after about 30 uses.....garbage investment, First one lasted almost 4 months then it quit., second one lased a little bit longer. Wouldn't turn or heat up. Must of burned out the relay that is Chinese designed to operate right at the operating current.. In the 4 months I used it 30 times or more at an average of 15 minutes. Thats about 7 to 8 hours use total run time. You can use it for a lot more than pizza. Works great with battered shrimp, fish sticks, chicken strips, frozen chicken fried steaks, egg roles, frozen french fries, frozen onion rings, corn dogs, making cookies, heating tortillas, etc. etc. all without heating up the kitchen. Kicks off when it times out. NOTE: You can also cook larger things like frozen breaded chicken strips by propping the lid open with a table spoon. I am ordering another to see if I just got a weak one or if its typical Chinese junk. It will be 1 star if it doesn't last a year. People tha are 5 starring this appliance probably gave rating a week after they received it.

Nice way to cook the pizza. I got tired of waiting for the oven and the struggle of cooking 2 pizzas at once. My only complaints are the tray could fit in there a little better, it is a tad awkward until you get used to it; and the pizza might take a little longer than in the oven, but the trade off is no preheating time and no chance of burning. I went and ordered a 2nd one. I also use it to cook chicken patties. Update: Both pizza makers have quit after a year and will not rotate or heat up. Good pizza maker, but not sure if I will get a new one. I did try to buy another one from Amazon, but when I plugged it in smoke came out of it and produced a foul smell, so it went back to Amazon. I contacted Hamilton Beach and they honored the limited warranty on the one that was still under warranty and offered a discount on the other one, so I was able to get both replaced, but one had a funny smell when I pulled it out of the box and smoke came out of it when I plugged it in. Fortunately Hamilton Beach offered to replace that one at no cost to me. Update 2: Beware smoking appliance! Each replacement Hamilton Beach has sent me produces smoke when plugged in and heated up. They asked to send it back for a quality evaluation which they never gave the results for until I asked and then said that the appliance worked as designed. It's designed to produce smoke? But they were happy to replace the appliance again after I cover the shipping charge.

I spent a lot of time looking at the pizza ovens on Amazon to assess their features and operation. Am I ever glad that I chose this one. It is even better than what I was expecting. It has gotten to the point where ordering a small pizza with a few ingredients on itfor delivery costs about $30. I just think that's too much money. This pizza oven is so easy to use that a child could operate it. Indeed, because the temperature gage and timer dials both have raised dots on them a blind person can operate it with ease. I am not a fan of frozen pizza, despite the enthusiastic claims by the manufacturers that they are as good as delivered pizza. Many supermarkets now make fresh pizza with choices of ingredients that they keep refrigerated. These latter really are as good as delivery, but cost only a third as much. I can only suggest one possible improvement to Hamilton Beach. They should include a latch on the front of the pizza maker to prevent it from opening if it happens to fall off the kitchen counter while operating. This would make it much safer to use and I am surprised that they didn't think of it. Despite this however, I am really pleased with it and will be using it at least once a week.

Acheter dans la catégorie économie/ rabais/ retourné La boîte était un peu amochée mais le four intact. Qualité/prix excellent. Surtout le rabais ;) Sécuritaire et facile d 'utilisation. L'appareil, à la fin de la minuterie, cesse la cuisson. On a cuit : pizza surgelé et maison ; croquette de poulet; egg Rolling ; etc. Le livret qui vient avec le four indique vraiment tout ce que l'on peut faire avec. Génial !! Mise à part le fait qu'il serait intéressant d'avoir une poignée amovible pour retirer la plaque après cuisson ( vraiment un détail). Nous recommandons vivement!

funciona mucho mejor un hornito electrico, ya que puedes controlar completamente la barra de hierro al rojo vivo superior para dar un terminado mucho mas tostado si se desea. la maquina solo calienta a cierta temperatura y derrite la pizza, pero si buscas un acabado tostadito en la parte inferior o superior de la pizza, no será posible, solo dejara pizza suave, o aguada(no que sea malo) pero a los que les gusta un poco de crunch los desilusionara
